I don't think I have ever seen anyone make it their job to defend a player to the ends of the earth in this fashion.

I couldn't do it. Not only would it not interest me, but I couldn't stand the stigma attached. I will criticize anyone in the Cowboys organization when I feel it is right and praise them when I feel it is right. I think it goes to extremes when you take such offense to criticism of any player.

i dont think defending ANY player against the single-minded blind attacks is near as bad as the people who want to take 13 years of futility and blame it on one guy for "off the field issues".

I think people in general are too eager to find a sound bite and run with it rather than look at a full picture.

i dont think defending ANY player against the single-minded blind attacks is near as bad as the people who want to take 13 years of futility and blame it on one guy for "off the field issues".

I think people in general are too eager to find a sound bite and run with it rather than look at a full picture.

I don't buy the Jerry curse either.

I would rather look at the broad picture and say blame rests in multiple places.

I see nothing wrong with defending TO. It's no different than the fact that you see nothing wrong with jettisoning him to solve all of the problems at Valley Ranch.

Edit: I'm sure when the mods get tired of the back & forth they'll take action. My reason for starting this thread was well defined and it didn't happen. I learned quite a bit via this thread. It's all good on this end.

That's as far back as my first search page went and I felt that was far enough.
