That dude screwed up by not intercepting that ball...not to mention he either wasn't there, or was in someone's way, all day long it seemed.

Heck if he picks that ball and scores the worst we are is 17 all at about the denver five there at the end. Easy FG, we win. That dude hosed us bigtime and could have helped the team. It wouldn't kill us so damn much when romo has a bad game if just once someone else would step up. Today, imo, spencer was to be that guy and blew it.

Spencer was in position and it was just one of those plays that happens sometimes, you can't say he had bad coverage, wasn't where he was supposed to be or made a mental lapse, it just slipped between his hands. It happens.

If there is no turnover, then that's not a touchdown. Just another way turnovers can kill you in the game.

Spencer no doubt hurt us on multiple occassions. He gave up that TD by some how missing that INT, then he got beat on the next possession by another back for a long catch after he did God knows what to start the play and couldn't get back into it on time. THen later he picks up that stupid 15 yard penalty by fricken getting his hand on the face mask during a darn sack.

That face mask on the freaking sack made me cuss 16 different ways in public.

Just catch the damn ball. It's one of the first things you learn how to do when you decide that you might want to play the game. It just seemd to me he didn't miss a chance to miss a chance today.

Romo didn't account for a blitzing Safety and never looked left and got stripped. The play is on him because he needs to account for ALL players on the field before the snap. If he looks left or accounts for him no fumble, no points.

Spencer tried to make the play but he was in position. He should have made the play but the D never should have been in that spot.

Beginning to think the whole team is a bust outside of Witten.

If they're good, they're hurt.
If they're not good, they're on the field hurting the scoreboard.

Spencer sucks. He doesn't play like the smartest player. I question his IQ. Doesn't act or play like a sharp person.

Yeah, let's blame the loss on one freak play. On the facemask call: it really sucks that the NFL took away the 5 yard rule, because that was not malicious at all.

I think its misguided to blame one player or coach for this game.

Today we saw the usual assortment of penalties, from some of our best players.

We saw the usual mistakes from our best players.

the qb missed some open wr and let them down.

the wr screwed up routes and let the qb down.

the line played lousy in the second half.

the defense makes as many bad plays as good plays, as always and today they were asked to make to many good ones. And as usual they always find a way to falter.

the special teams while excellent all year had bad punt coverage late in the 4th and allowed denver a shorter distance to get to field goal range.

the defensive gameplan seemed to be excellent, I think wade deserves no blame for this. It seemed to me he knew every single play coming and was prepared for it. its not his fault guys miss INterceptions again, get penalties erasing positive plays etc.

its just what this team is and has been since 05. Losing to a journeymen qb who looked off all day and was getting hit nearly every throw is just amazing to me. BUt that is what this group has always done.

their is really no one to blame. We are just a run of the mill football team. time to accept it and move on.

I wish the owner/gm would realize that and stop declaring things and doing things to create even more adverse situations for the team, but that will never change and I really dont know why I even acknowledge it.

What I'd like to know is where the heck was Victor Butler? I'm sure I missed him in there some, cause I don't get the chance to watch every player on every play, but I don't recall seeing him in there, ever, on pass rushing situation which I'd hoped we'd do more with him.

You do not know anything about football if you think that blitz is on Romo, with a safety coming on a delay to his backside with no blitz pickup. The left tackle or RB (who was motioned wide) picks up that blitz. If that safety came from the strong side, it would've been completely different as it would have been in Romo's face. Back side, not so much.

Why can't some fans understand that sometimes the opposing team just makes a play?

I was told all offseason how Spencer was going to have this break-out season ... still waiting.

Because that would violate their conception of the universe, where there is always somebody to scapegoat and blame.......
