What are the odds that the entire nation's worth of media pundits and naysayers own up and say "we were wrong", or just simply play it off as if they knew Dallas was the better team all along, that Romo's personal life and pro life have nothing to do with each other, and Dallas is clearly the team to beat in the NFC?

This is what I hate about the media: No accountability. Skip Bayless, the New York papers, etc. won't have one shred of this thrown back in their faces should Dallas win.

Believe me, if we do win and we are. none of them haters are gonna take there words back, believe that. it's funny how alot of them think the giants have the edge because romo took a couple days in Mexico.

They'll probably like the Cowboys for the NFC Championship game, but there's about ZERO chance that they'll say they were wrong.

It's the sports media's way of doing things.

I vote for "play it off". They always do. As Hostile's sig so eloquently put it, "Embrace the hatred".

I think they will point out that the Giants have had injuries.

Like they did the last two times we trounced them.

They'll just pick the Packers to beat us next week. Remember, they didn't have Woodson or KGB last time.

Especially after GB rolls over Seattle... Which is what I expect will happen.

It will depend on a copule of things:
1) How we were able to blow the Giants out
2) How the other Divisional Game goes down

Suffice it to say, any fan of a team not named the New England Patriots hoping for props from the media is somewhat credulous.

Jan 1 - "Dallas is on the skids and should fear everyone."

Feb 4 - "It was obvious all along that Dallas was having a special season."

No one will ever care as there's no accountability for the media.

They have none, zero downside risk to spewing out their opinions......papers keep selling, espn still being watched.......

Ya' wonder sometimes if Jerry J. contributes too heavily too maybe a diff. side of the political isle than the media?

I've literally got my money on the Hawks (on the money line). Seattle has a similar scheme and type of players on defense as Chicago does, which gave Favre trouble. Favre has shown me this year that if you knock around a bit early in the game, he starts throwing the ball up for grabs. Plus the Packers struggled with the return games of the Bears (which is understandable) and the Cowboys (who are only a decent on returns). The Seahawks have a good returner in Burleson and I think it gives them problems.

Of course if this happens all we'll hear about is the Romo botched snap.

if we beat the gints, they will simply proclaim the winner of seattle/GB as the hottest team in the nfc and tell us all how scared dallas is of them.

no chance at all. This is the media's way of putting the Cowboys as Darth Vader to NE's Skywalker.

Just got done watching Mike Doocy on Fox 4 nightly news spew his negativism saying that his "third time is NOT the charm" supersticious belief is the reason the DC may not win on Sunday.

Now there is some genuine objective news reporting.

I've literally got my money on the Pack minus the eight points. Also have the over 42, for what it's worth....because the forecast is for a clear day.

Schemes be damned, Seattle is a dreadful road team.....and they've been a dreadful road team for a while now. I bet them last week and looked like a genius, but this week I'll gladly shy away because they're just not the same team on the road.

Rather than praising the Cowboys, they'll crap on Eli and Coughlin. They only know praise if it's Favre or Brady
