You show me ANY MEDIA ANYWHERE that ever admits they were wrong to the same degree that they trumpet the mistake in the first place?
Accountability and integrity and honesty? FROM THE MEDIA?

I've literally got my money on the Pack minus the eight points. Also have the over 42, for what it's worth....because the forecast is for a clear day.

Schemes be damned, Seattle is a dreadful road team.....and they've been a dreadful road team for a while now. I bet them last week and looked like a genius, but this week I'll gladly shy away because they're just not the same team on the road.

I agree.....I don't think the 'Hawks stand a chance in Green Bay....pity too.... I really wanted Seattle and I am betting so did Tony Romo!!

That's how I see it. Seattle is just an inferior team IMO, and GB has the home field advantage. Pretty simple call, I think. Of course, anything can happen. Jim Mora actually picked Seattle and the Giants to both win, for some reason.

No, the media does not go back to correct themselves. They will focus on how Dallas will lose the following week.

After Dallas wins on Sunday the whole media discussion will be about how are the Cowboys going to deal with Seattle(yes, the Packers will lose) in the NFC championship game. They will focus on Romo fumbling the snap and how that still lingers and will affect him and the whole team.

Bad....bad idea.

The Packers won't even win, much less cover.

I have spoken.

Why do you guys think the Packers will lose?

I get tired of the Favre hype like anyone else, but I do think they're a very good team this year.

Seattle's pressure is too magnificent and relentless for Favre to deal with. Plus, we've seen what happens in games this year where Favre gets that pressure, and suddenly feels that he needs to win the game himself. Plus, given the choice of Mike Holmgren versus Mike McCarthy, I know which way I lean. The Seahawks have been playing well for a few months now, and Green Bay has an exploitable secondary and an overall defense that just keeps getting worse. Get ready for Dallas v. Seattle part deux - when they will replay the bobble 18 times more often than Hasselbeck's "We want the ball, and we're gonna score!" guarantee is being aired this week.

I hope so ..... time for Romo to bury the bobble!

I'd take the other side of that trade. :)

Seattle wasn't beating friggin' Washington by that much until two defensive scores. And that's at home, where they've been far, far better than on the road.

I wouldn't be suprised if GB blew them out.

If you're feeling frisky, we can have a little wager. :)

I take Seattle and the points (8, I think it is) - you take Green Bay and lay the 8. Winner gets a new sig and avatar for a week. :D Yours will be epic.

I agree.

I really like seattles defense, but I am not sure it will be able to bail them out for 60 minutes. They do have a very good secondary though and I think they are going to make it very tough on favre.

I think the packers find a way to win though.

if it is tight late though, I wouldnt be suprised if favre forced one somewhere, but I think the same thing of hasslebeck.

seattle has not been a good road team, they have been really bad against decent teams on the road.

I'm with ya on Seattle. Everyone talks about the Hawks lack of a running game and depending too much on the pass... What about GB? I actually think Seattle's D is going to have an easier time shutting down Ryan Grant than GB will have shutting down Mo Morris and Alexander.

That Hawks D flies all over the field. Tatupu and Peterson will give Favre problems.

And GB didn't exactly set the world on fire in December either. They got smoked when still playing for HFA in Chicago. But no one talks about them going in to this game struggling. They talk about us losing a meaningless game in Washington (who beat Chicago), after we already had HFA locked up. Makes sense.

Naw, I don't do spreads and the like. I just say Green Bay wins. :)

Besides, you know I'm skeered you'd come up with something involving Parcells and a bunch of valentines or something for me.

Alright. I'm pretty confident Seattle wins - let's go straight winner.

I believe that a couple of prevailing theories will get blown out of the water this weekend.
1) Dallas isnt the same team, the wheels have come off.
2) Dallas/NYG will be the most competitive game of the weekend.

DAL 38-17

Green Bay beat Washington 17-14 this year at home. The Commanders were playing better football at the end of the year than at the time when they faced the Packers.

I like how Seattle matches up with Green Bay. They match up better with Green Bay than they do against the Commanders on the defensive side of the ball.
