Schemes be damned, Seattle is a dreadful road team.....and they've been a dreadful road team for a while now. I bet them last week and looked like a genius, but this week I'll gladly shy away because they're just not the same team on the road.

Seattle's pressure is too magnificent and relentless for Favre to deal with. Plus, we've seen what happens in games this year where Favre gets that pressure, and suddenly feels that he needs to win the game himself. Plus, given the choice of Mike Holmgren versus Mike McCarthy, I know which way I lean. The Seahawks have been playing well for a few months now, and Green Bay has an exploitable secondary and an overall defense that just keeps getting worse. Get ready for Dallas v. Seattle part deux - when they will replay the bobble 18 times more often than Hasselbeck's "We want the ball, and we're gonna score!" guarantee is being aired this week.Chocolate Lab;1888487 said:Why do you guys think the Packers will lose?
I get tired of the Favre hype like anyone else, but I do think they're a very good team this year.

I'd take the other side of that trade.superpunk;1888502 said:Seattle's pressure is too magnificent and relentless for Favre to deal with. Seattle wasn't beating friggin' Washington by that much until two defensive scores. And that's at home, where they've been far, far better than on the road.
I wouldn't be suprised if GB blew them out.

I'm with ya on Seattle. Everyone talks about the Hawks lack of a running game and depending too much on the pass... What about GB? I actually think Seattle's D is going to have an easier time shutting down Ryan Grant than GB will have shutting down Mo Morris and Alexander.superpunk;1888502 said:Seattle's pressure is too magnificent and relentless for Favre to deal with. Besides, you know I'm skeered you'd come up with something involving Parcells and a bunch of valentines or something for me.
