The Raiders get paid to play this game just like the Cowboys do. It should be a rule around here that you never, ever, count on a win against an NFL opponent. There are to many moving parts on teams to think that a game can be won by a weaker opponents record.

Remember. The Raiders want a piece of Dallas just like every other team in the NFL...

This has trap written all over it. Cowboys bottled up their emotions all last week and then put a lot of energy into beating the Giants. Hopefully the quick turn around does not impact them and they remain focused on Oakland. I do not want to see any junk about the Giants coming from the Cowboys after today.

We'll beat them convincingly, I'll be surprised if this doesn't turn into a mirror game of STL. Their starting RB is injured, their passing defense is horrible, their QB turns the ball over more then he throws TDs, and we're also at home.

We'll come out with a similar game plan to the STL game, we'll run the ball heavily to set up our passing game. If we take the lead early and don't turn the ball over, it's game over. If we focus on stopping the run game and containing Pryor, they're NOT going to beat us with their passing attack. Even with our bad passing defense, I just don't see it happening.

31 - 17 Dallas

I hope not, of course if they start thinking about turkey eating sooner than after the game , it could be a long day.

I think this will be like the last time the Cowboys played the Raiders on Thanksgiving, in 2009. The Cowboys were favored but it still seemed like a close game in the first half.

I would be more concerned they will be focused on the Giants and basking in the win. Hopefully not.

This game scares me, and is the type of game the Cowboys lose. They better be prepared and not take this game lightly. The Superbowl they played against the Giants is the past they better be focused.

Pryor is currently listed as Probable. He actually worries me a bit. He ran on us in the preseason and our D does not handle running QBs very well.
McFadden is currently listed as Inactive.

If both were available to play Thursday then are legit concerns with the Boys suspect run defense.

The Cowboys led 17-0 at the half (and had a missed FG thrown in there for good measure). I'll take that kind of close half anytime.

The Raiders are a feisty team lacking in overall talent. Who knows who plays QB and who knows which team shows up. They are capable of putting together a decent game but those are far and few between.

Usually, I would call this a trap game but Dallas should be able to walk-through this one and win. I don't think our team looks past anyone at this point or hope not. They did come off an emotional game but the Raiders are bad, worse than NY and we are at home.

Yet, we know the Cowboys trends and they like to keep us on edge but thankfully, Oakland is coming to town and not SEA or some team like that.

In what sense? On the one hand, people keep posting those numbers about how we always beat sub-.500 teams and always lose to above-.500 teams. On the other hand, they say that we tend to lose games like this. Which is it? My answer is that we tend to make games like this uncomfortably close, but almost always come out ahead.

Do you worry about the Cowboys playing to the level of their opponent? If so then you should be worried about them coming out slow and not executing at a high level.

All I have to say is that if we lose to Matt McGloin I'm going to be beyond pissed. And this is coming from a PSU fan.....

They have Jenkins. I'd throw on him all day. If he goes to the sideline to rest, call a timeout until he's rested and throw on him some more.

From what I've read on the Raiders forum, Jenkins suffered a concussion against the Titans and is questionable for the game Thursday. Interestingly, several members of the forum were also complaining that Jenkins was "an unwilling tackler." Guess things never change.

We should also run at him and give him plenty of opportunities to make his business decisions.
