I have been reading the Bears forums and they give Dallas no respect what so ever. They are so confident in their defense.

I have been watching their games and to be honest I don't think they match up well against us. Granted they have a great DL/LB but they have not faced an OL as big as ours. Our OL has been wearing defenses down by the second half. Romo's scrambling ability also gives us an edge because it allows plays to develop longer. A big key to the game will be how well the RB's do. Julius had a big game against them a few years ago. Gurode and Davis will be huge in this one.

I don't think their secondary matches up very well against our WR's and TE's either.

I would love for us to beat the crud out of them.

Urlacker did not play in that game and I do think he is key to that defense. I saw what the Bears D looked like with him in the lineup and how it looked when he was dealing with a major injury that kept him out for a while and that D was like night and day. I think Dallas can win but it will be a tough game

It's going to be a tough game make no mistake about that. The bears have a great front 7, very physical and tough. We have to play mistake free football. The deep ball to bernard berrian must be taken away. Grossman can't drive his team up and down the field consistently without making a mistake. Devin hester can't be allowed to electrify the crowd on special teams. Like i stated earlier this game is about mental toughness.

The only worry I have is that it's another road game. If this game were played in Texas Stadium I would feel more comfy...

Now, if they lose, no problem from me because it's tough playing on the road one game after another, BUT, if they pull this out, if they win...my oh my!

;)

This may sound crazy but I like when we play on the road, we seem to be focused and together. I really like Romo on the road. I have so much trust and faith in this cat, especially with the oline playing well and giving him time.

These are the two biggest keys to the game. 1. Containing Hester on STs and 2.not allowing Grossman to connect deep with Berrian. It's going to be tough sledding for us to be sure, so we cant afford to give up big chunks of yardage. If we do that and make it a game of executing long drives offensively, our chances of winning are MUCH greater.

I actually think they match up pretty well against Dallas. They have Urlacher to negate Witten on the deep stuff and Briggs to negate him on the short and intermediate stuff. Mark Anderson is exactly the type of DE that gives Flozell fits, speed rusher with a good motor.

I was checking out stats and the Bears have the #30 off vs our #26 def. The Cowboys have the #4 off vs their #5 def. It is a pretty even match based on those stats but it's any given Sunday.

Oh man, I would luv to see BU covering Witten deep. I'd take that matchup downfield. I know BU is fast but being fast and covering deep is 2 different things. They better have a safety on Witten deep.

So are you saying it's NOT OK for Bears fans to express OPTIMISM on THEIR boards, but it's OK for US to express our's on OUR boards?

Dude-they're just reg football fans just like we are.

I believe Archaletta is starting at safety for the Bears, isn't he?

Yes-he's a liability in coverage, but he has alot of support behind him nonetheless(the 3 LBs, the 2 corners, etc).
