To be honest guys I have not watched 1 game since Garcia took over.

I will be much more confident with Romo back there facing their blitz instead of Bledsoe.

How is their run and pass defense?
How is their run and pass offense?
How do they match up with us etc?

Westbrook is still the man to stop.

Hopefully Zimmer figures to cover RBs out of the backfield.

We stop their blitz, they wont have any pass rush.

Their run game has been bad but showed some stingy-ness against the Giants - did allow 133 though.

EDIT: Garcia has looked sharp. can make things happen out of the pocket.

Still the same old Eagles, except now the gay is at QB. Stop Westbrook and you win. Pretty simple.

The eagles seem to be playing much more balanced since "The Duck" came in...(or whatever that name was).

He's the key to the game...they are playing more balanced on offense, but the defense can be exposed, big time...

What they don't understand this time, is that the Cowboys are young and strong...hungry too!

The game will come down on who is most physical. Watching the eagles play, they look good! However, they don't look as physical as the Cowboys do. That's what I'm seeing...and they have to play on the road...

It will be a good game.

All you need to know: Baton twirling signal caller, super fast and explosive receiving skills in Westbrook, good tightend, solid runner in Buckhalter, servicable wideout in Basket, overrated o-line of high draft picks and high priced free agents, talented but underachieving d-line, one good linebacker named Trotter, hard hitting safety named dawkins and a pro bowl bound yet highly beatable corner named Lito Shepard, good kicker, lots of blitzing, no Super Bowls, I give you the Eagles.

their defense is their weakness. Brian Dawkins has been playing out of his mind the past few weeks. Their defense really misses Kearse as Howard production has plummeted. The eagles are in a tight spot this week because Jim Johnson loves to bring multiple blitz packages (which usually worked very well against Bledsoe) but now might have to curtail some blitzes since Romo excels when he side-steps pressure and throws while he is moving. Keys to the game will be the following matchups:

Darren Howard vs. Flozell Adams. The first meeting between these two was a knock-out punch by Howard. He recorded 2 sacks and FF and dominated Adams. This should be different this time around as Adams has returned to his pro-bowl level and Howard has worn down since teams are doubling him since Kearse went down. If Adams has any self-respect...he will silence Howard in this game.

Kyle Kosier vs Darwin Walker. Where do I start with this one. Lets just say Kosier should get half of any incentives bonuses Walker gets after this season. Walker stunted, bull-rushed, twisted...etc...you get the point - he did what ever he wanted whenever he wanted against Kosier. Walker ended the game with an incredible 3 sacks, 1 FF and 6 tackles. It was by far Walker greatest game ever. Again, If Kosier has any self-respect ....he cuts those numbers in half.

Gurode vs. Walker/Patterson. Gurode was also guilty of letting DT thrust into the backfield as soon as the ball was snapped. Without beating a dead horse....see above.

they'll be working the perimeter which seems to be our weakness - we should have Carpenter spy Westbrook often, and use more zone coverage and zone blitzing - mix it up some and keep them guessing. Take our chances on giving up big plays, because we give them up regularly anyway!!!

on offense, I would try at least one HB option - I'll bet if Barber or Jones can throw any kind of pass at all, Crayton or Glenn would be wide open deep. run plays to slow their blitzing, but I think we can run on them so i would not get too far away from that...

we've done a good job of making halftime corrections. i would attack their perimeter defense early with screens and sweeps letting Barber and Jones find cut-back lanes, but keep it on the ground for the most part until we see what they're up to...

make no mistake - the Eagles are still dangerous. Garcia is doing a good job in Mcnabb's absence, and if we let them get off to a good start, it could be a long day similar to the Falcons game. I'd rather put them down early like we did against Atlanta, but this time keep them down...

i hope i get to watch this game. gonna be one for the books...
I think westbrook will be key...You think reggie bush is bad? Westbrook wrote the book on finesse RBs. I only saw garcia play once this year but he looked extremely erratic.
When the saints beat them it was with mcnabb so i guess it was different but they didnt seem to have an answer to the deepball, and getting pressure on the qb wasnt much of a problem.
I have to hope for the eagles on this one for obvious reasons but good luck guys.

if the eagles cant get much pressure on romo, id say there in trouble, they have had troulble stopping the run and secondary isnt all that great. at the same time our secondary has to prevent the big play and watch wesbrooke out of the backfield.

but bottom line is , if they get a lot of pressure on romo, it could be a very tough game probly right down to the last second.

but i beleive they wont get to romo like they did bledsoe, and if they blitz and dont get to him and he gets outside, its gona be a long day for the eagles def.

Gay or straight, Garcia can be a very good QB, good enough to beat us. This will be a very difficult game and if we win, and follow up w/ a win over Detroit, I'd have to again let myself start believing a little bit in what this team can do. I include Detroit, because if we beat the Eagles, we nee to show we are not as suseptible to big game letdown as we have been in the past...
