I'm long time viewer but rarely post. I've been a Cowboy fan ever since I clutched on to those little toy cowboy players from the vibrating football game as a small child.
(this was way before video games, we had to use our imagination back then)

I feel a need to put in my two cents.

The element the cowboys have lacked this year and for that matter, for a good ten years, is the kill shot. Rather it be in the micro moment of a game ending play or from a a larger perspective, the ability to win a meaningful NFC East game, the cowboys just can't rip out the juggler. This is the time, on Monday night.

The Giants met their David and the Redmen are looking at their collective heart on the floor, cut out by the Buccaneers. On monday the table will be set. For dinner the master tuna has brought in a flapping, wounded bird, crying out to live, crying to fly again. The young cowboys must sharpen their teeth, and smile with a cool knowledge that this meal will taste ohhh soo good. They must lick the juices from their lips and bit down hard and true, feeling that little birds heart pump it's warm , salty lifeblood into their mouth. I believe if they can learn to kill the eagles tomorrow..they will be in the Superbowl and just might win the d*mn thing. If not they will be floundering around, up and down the rest of the season. Sometimes the fear of success can be just as destructive as the fear of falure. Here's to the Cowboys having the courage to get past this fear .

I don't know if I'll post much in the future, but I'm there with all you guys and enjoy listening to your thoughts and expressions.

Yeah , my friends and I had hours of fun with that game. We would have neighborhood playoffs. I even order the Cowboy team in their blue uniforms.

A very brutal but true analogy.

A convincing win tomorrow will give our players the confidence it needs. This game will define this team and reveal to everyone if we've taken the next step in becoming an elite team. Can we win on prime-time in a very hostile environment?

I say Cowboys 27 Eagles 17...

Haley, you are on the money here. If this team can get past the fear of all of it and get into the actual destructive mindset of dominating teams they may be better than any of us realize.

They have to learn to break the neck. They are too fond of letting teams they dominate hang around (not so much recently). To be successful in this second half and the playoffs, teams must fear them and not just on defense they have to fear what we can do to them on Offense as well.

Tomorrow we show the killer intinct and put this bird out of it's (and our) collective misery.

BRING THE PAIN!!!!

I'm going to say Cowboys do it 31 -20.

If we weather the early emotion and stick to our game plan, I think we win.

I think Jones is going to have a big game even if Barber starts and even though it's on grass. He looked a little off early in the season, wasn't hitting the hole....just wasn't making it happen... looked like he was running not to make a mistake. With Barber breathing down his neck and this being a Monday night, i can see him breaking this one open. We all know he has that type of ability. I'm a little shell shocked from the losing years and still don't have a great read on this team. Tomorrow we find out a lot.

Yes they do. He lived about 4 miles from my house. Very scary. Now he is behind bars for life. Thank God his ego overcame his common sense and practically allowed himself to be captured because the cops had no clue. They tried to find this guy for 29 years and it turns out he was right under their nose.

Once we get to the playoffs and hopefully get a bye, we are only a few games away from stunning the world. Slamming the window of opportunity down on the fingers of the Eagles and watching them fall will be sweet indeed...

We need to calmly walk up to them, whip out a Mick Dundee size knife and disembowel them. Then cut out their hearts and eat them. And wash it down with their blood.
Then in honor of the philthy fans, belch loudly.

Thank you for posting!

However I disagree slightly.

What this team has lacked over the last 10 years has been talent. That's really the bottom line.

I always wanted the blue unis but I could never manage to get them. But I had about 5 sets of white uniformed Cowboys, plus at least one set of every other team that existed at the time.

My cousin and I threw out the "triple-action" QB guy and made up our own rules using dice and the distance between the QB and receiver to determine completions. We played about 30 four and five game seasons plus playoffs. Dallas won the Super Bowl about 75% of the time.

Did you ever notice that going towards the vibration control button gave a player more power? We incorporated that in the game as the homefield advantage.

Believe it or not....I actually had one of those "vibrating football games" ..I remember there was a red team & a blue team.......The winner was determined by the luck of the buzzzzzzz. Santa was good to me that year......lol
