Just for the simple fact that he will throw the ball to the open man without prejudice gives us a great shot here.

As much as T.O. likes to announce that when he is getting the ball it opens up the entire offense, as much can be said about the QB play.

With Romo in there, defenses wont be jamming the L.O.S. every other play, and clogging all the running lanes.

JJ and MB3 should see even better production, with less tackles being made at the point of handoff.

I like the 1-2 punch this running game can deliver and think that with a little luck, yes luck, or staying healthy, this team can go farther than a lot of moron Mediots have been predicting.

Its funny how a change at one position, can open a team up,,, lets just hope it can continue.

It is early, but yes, I agree ROMO seems to make others better.
It seems to even extend to the Defense. It seems that they now feel that if they make plays the offense will do something with it. I think that with Bledsoe in there they sort of felt like..."What the point?"

I agree. Both Romo and TO open things up... they are one in the same... Romo needs to throw and TO needs to catch.

But I must say I disagree a little because.... with TO on team JJ has been running for 100 yards just about every game... before Romo came in

With that said... I honestly dont care who does what... as long as this team plays to its potential(great team on paper, now lets execute) and wins the games that IT SHOULD WIN.. I am happy....

Yes... TO was on the sidelines pumping them up... Although they are seperate units(off, def, ST) - they need to play as one

I think everyone needs to calm down.. at this point ,, Romo should NOT be mentioned with the likes of Brady, P. Manning,, etc.. he has one game. I like what I saw, I am just scared that fans are expecting to much out of this kid right now. The odds are he will struggle at times and that might cost us a victory that we should win.. winning 3 on the road is not easy and I still expect us to come thru it at 2-1,, which means a loss at washington or a loss at the cardinals, neither of which will sit well with the fans.

Whats wrong with fans getting a little excited?
This team seems to have spark with some fresh blood in at QB, let us enjoy the win, and the potential for the season.

If you can see 2-1... then you can surely see 3-0..... what scares you with AZ or WASH?

Agreed. I posted some stats to another tread yesterday that showed that Glenn remained consistant Sunday night with his average/game this season.

Big differnce was the marked improvement in output for Owens and Witten.

Barber and Jones were both slightly above their average on Monday night as well.

It's amazing what can happen when you have longer sustained drives (and short fields thanks to the defense hehe)

Nothing scares me about either team, and i am as excited as anyone with the Way Romo performed. I am backing this kid 100% and then some. My only concern is that he is young, and esp going to Washington, might struggle and some fans would be very hard on him. Washington is coming off a bye, their season is on the line, they are at home, and they are playing the Dallas Cowboys,, if they can't get up for this,, they never will. I am not sure, that Romo has ever experienced anything like he will sunday

he reminds me of another young qb in the way he takes command of the offense and calls audibles. troy.
i remember when troy came in he was such a breath of fresh air after enduring years of pelluer and a declining white.

With Romo and TO, teams can't afford to just blitz us at will because of the short pass to TO and the threat of him taking it to the house (YAC). The fact that teams have to be respectful of that, means that they have to play it safe and not bring the extra man up to the line. When this happens we have a better chance at running the ball. JJ and MB are good runners but they are just a piece to our overall offensive machine. We are actually in a postion to allow teams to pick their poison. Bring the man up and we throw behind you. Leave him in the outfield and we will run it down your throats or hit you with the quick slants all day.

Also, teams who do blitz us are a little more afraid now because if they don't get to the QB, they run the risk of allow a big play. The odds are greater that they will give up the big play if Romo is back there as opposed to Beldsoe.

I don't understand this comment.. I have been and will be a Romo Supporter over Bledsoe. I am very excited about what he can become and what he can do on the feild. I am just not ready to put his bust in Canton. I am just worried that some of the fan base is going to be very hard on the kid, when he struggles, and he will struggle.

Answer: His is a scratch golfer. Do you know what kind of mental toughness and control you need to have to be a scratch golfer... then throw in talent and good decision making....

I am not panicking over this game.

Romo's best QB strength is his mind.

He does see the field well and can find the open man well.

If you cannot enjoy the good times following your team, then you might as well just not root for them at all because the down times are coming soon enough and they are terrible so I see no reason to temper this enthusiasm until we have too.

I agree, that is what makes this so exciting. The guy can read defenses and makes quick decisions and has a strong enough arm to execute the offense the way it needs to be.

If he can eliminate the impulse to some degree he is going to have a sucessful carreer.

We need to be realistic here.... even the GREAT QB's throw INT's.... so I wont go crazy if he does... its part of the game.... the less the better, of course.

Thats why I said to some degree, because you don't want him to lose all of the gunslinger mentality because it will inhibit his quick release and decision making.
