Like what I saw from Nzeocha

Agreed he played with instincts and looks like he can play sideline to sideline. He's going to make a strong push to make this team. I thought Hitchens also looked good. We should be fine at LB.

Lee, Hitchens and Nzeocha look like the best three. Wilber looked like *** in the first half. He missed several tackles and just looked lost. How can that be after 4-5 years on the team?

Coaches are high on him. I can understand why. Looks like he will be in the final 53. Looked good tonight. Much better than Wilbur.

I loved what I saw from him and Thornton. Nzeocha showed great spatial awareness and closing speed for a big, lanky LB like RoMac. Thornton looked kinda lean than in the past with the Eagles and was super explosive off the snap. That dude looked like he was firing off the line on a cadence-read the way he launched. On top of that, he was mostly playing at 3-tech tonight. T.Craw, Thor and Collins are going to be a penetrating force this year.

Nzeocha was extremely active the whole time he played tonight and displayed outstanding promise of developing into a very special linebacker, imho. He truly impressed me as being highly instinctive and made a good number of solid plays. I'll anxiously be looking forward to seeing a great deal more of him in the preseason games to follow.
