Callahan may not "like" this but really, he's a professional and he's lost lots of jobs before. He is doing a good job with the OL and he's not going to tank it or anything because he knows he'll be looking for work when his contact is up

I'm intrigued to see how linehan handles this offense. Only thing I'm not interested in is the offensive implosion that can happen w Garrett Callahan and linehan.

Whats te whole deal? Linehan comes in takes over play calling and Callahan coaches the OL. You people are worse then the dallas media you people gripe about.

We cycle through assistant coaches like nobody's business

I don't understand.

Garrett knows this guy from his days in Miami.

Are you guys trying to tell me that Callahan..

hand picked by our Satin-owner..Jerrah..

..did anything close to do a good job calling plays and running the offense..?

You are joking, right?

Callahan comes from a branch of coaches going back to Chunkie in Oakland..circa 2004.

In the NFL..that's a dinosaur lifetime.

Callahan's offense was so old school..

they don't have an alma mater for it anymore.

Linehan's been coaching in the NFL since 2002.

Per Rappaport, done deal.

@RapSheet: The #Cowboys are going to hire former #Lions OC Scott Linehan on their staff to calls plays, per source.

All the "Callahan will stay" talk is positive PR stuff.

This is a graceful firing. Linehan will become the offensive coordinator and Callahan will get a job with Cleveland or elsewhere and the Cowboys will not stop him from leaving.

Its called showing Callahan the door.

Same as Ryan last year.

At least when they make mistakes now..

the team is acting quickly to fix it.

Used to take 10 years to get changes like this.

If Callahan leaves, does his zone blocking scheme go with him? Or do we keep running it? That's what allowed us to have our first 1,000 yard rusher since Julius jones

That is a great question.

Detroit ran a power man scheme last season, that was supposedly one of the reasons we did not have Warford on our draft board.
