Going into next year on a 7 game heater wouldn’t be badthat will be heart breaking but possible.
Lions fans are really mad. Their team, in back to back years, has had extremely bad luck with injuries and the fans blame Campbell and his infamously physical practices. Their training staff is also taking some strays as well.
They reportedly tackle much more frequently than other teams and have much more physical non tackling drills as well.
I recall in pre season their fans calling for him to chill out this season but Campbell is, of course, one of those guys who is stubborn as hell.
Well, right on time, they’ve had guys getting injured at a pretty high clip as the season rolls on.
Bad timing for them.
Obviously a lesson to be learned for all those who want two a days in pads in San Antonio every year.
Remember, there are still fans who remember 12 game seasons. And loads of fans who who remember 14.In a ridiculous 17 game schedule you can’t have your team tearing each other up in practice . It’s criminal the season should be 14 games no more then 2 pre season .

Im confusedWow. The Cowboys rebuilt their offensive line with that trade. I think Arnold has been a disappointment for the Lions.
The increase in regular season games was always accompanied by increases in roster size. The NFLPA has the power to stop the increase in regular season games played. Jacob's ran for 5 yards a carry,we can run on themLions starting CBs height: 5'11, 5'9, and 5'9. Pickens, Lamb, and Flournoy need to play big and control the game. The Lions front seven is impressive, so I'm not expecting much running from Javonte.
48 player game day rosters came in with increased regular season games. No increase in the number of regular season games played has occurred without the expressed consent of the players’ union. Playing in foreign countries was agreed to by the NFLPA. The players are complicit in these decisions and for the same reason the owners’ desire it. Money. It would take a strike by the players to decrease the schedule . The owners are addicted to the gate receipts and TV $$ . When you say “ roster size increase “ in many instances it’s back up vs back up players due to injuries .
