Lions @ Saints

It might be a geographic thing, at least it is for me. I'm not around enough obnoxious Saints fans and I like Payton and Brees and co.

Their offense is a beauty to behold.

On the other hand, there were hordes of Niner fans in Hawaii growing up in the 80s and 90s. They have been silent for a decade, but they are coming out of the woodworks lately. I hope Brees and co demplush them.
Yeah, that makes sense. :)

I've hated this Saints bunch ever since Payton ran up the score (IMO) on Parcells that night we put Mike Karney in the HOF.

I do admit a bit of jealousy.

Sometimes I really regret Parcells didn't retire after 2005...

What are you talking about? Jerry and Parcells used to make fun of Sean Payton. Parcells said he had too may "Jap" plays and had too much caffeine in his system.

There is no way Payton was ever going to be a HC in Dallas.

We don't know that.

Can't agree with that...

Am I the only only one who absolutely detests the Saints?

I don't hate the Saints, why should I? My hates pretty tapped out after extending it to the Eagles, Giants, Packers and Steelers.

Rodgers is clearly better as the stats show. Brees has a much better OL yet Rodgers still has better numbers. Brady is #2 btw. I'd even take Romo over him.
you would take romo over brees? lol. how much have you had to drink tonight?

Can't wait to see Schwartz's face on the sideline. Putz.

Did you catch any of his post game presser? Gave neaux credit to the Saints, but says they lost because of poor officiating and missed opportunities. Strange, but I have a feeling that had they gotten all the breaks he thought they deserved, they still would have lost. He's a rude, classless jerk...IMO.

As it has been said, and proven, stats never tell the whole story. Two things here.....Packers have a pass oriented scheme with almost no run game. Saints have a run game and a pass game. Put Brees on the Packers and his numbers would bloom beyond Rodgers, and vice versa, put Rodgers on the Saints, and his numbers would decline, all due to the running game.
