Here are all of the practice squad runningbacks with a sub 4.5 40 time I could find that could potentially be signed to fill the void left by Lance Dunbars absense. I know 40 time isn't everything but it's a start.

Sorry there are no scouting reports/combine results/ or highlight films but I'm on my phone & it's just a giant pain.

Tauren Poole is my favorite candidate to take a chance on his film I watched showed burst & some shiftiness to his game plus he has ties to Dooley being a Vol & all.

Atlanta Falcons
RB Ronnie Wingo

Carolina Panthers
RB Tauren Poole

Cleveland Browns
RB Dennis Johnson

Denver Broncos
RB Edwin Baker

Indianapolis Colts
RB Kerwynn Williams

Minnesota Vikings
RB Bradley Randle,

Pittsburgh Steelers
RB Alvester Alexander

San Francisco 49ers
RB Jewel Hampton

I don't think the Cowboys will sign anybody. They will roll with Randle and Tanner. If one of them or Murray get hurt, then they might start trolling others teams practice rosters for replacements.

Doesn't matter really, none of them would have Dunbar's quickness, and it takes too long for guys to earn JGs trust to get touches anyways. What we have is what we're going to go with the rest of the way I woudl think.

If Dunbar is put on IR, it does open up a roster spot however.

If we dont go cherry pick a RB from somebody's practice squad, maybe we can go cherry pick a DL guy.

It sucks that we have to "go shopping" off practice squads for replacement players, but I guess it is what it is.

Agreed. Its more than just a change of pace RB. Randle has been forgotten but did well playing and by now they now what he can do in pass protection as well. A must for this team.
