Saw him a few times at the Grand Ole Opry... last saw him about 6 years ago or so...

Little fella who was a master at working the crowd... a true pro... RIP Lil Jimmy...

That is really cool that you got to see such a legend, Trick. You are blessed. He certainly was a pint sized pack of dynamite, wasn't he? I never got to see him live, but I have a feeling that he was much larger on stage (meaning big spirit) than he would appear otherwise. We have a sweet little old cat, she is 9 years old and only weighs 5 lb., a tiny little girl, but feisty as all gettup. lol. She can wrestle and play and scale up tree trunks with the best of them. lol. But, even though she is so small, she casts a very big shadow on the ground. Her shadow is the mirror image of the big spirit that resides inside her tiny body. And I have a pretty good feeling that Little Jimmy Dickens cast a big shadow, as well.
