We do massive BLM/GIS sat data manipulation here at my office. I stumbled across some old sat-bird data we took last year of some key areas I thought were special. I just wanted to share one. :

Ya -many of the state agencies pool from the same data google is. Google Earth launched early last year. I have some stuff dated back in the 80's Im gonna try n gather up and post. Its pretty neat. Amazing just how clear these things can get.
