It's over already. I only caught about 10 minutes. Don't know how much I missed. This was my first time catching it live.

In all my years, I had never seen wide receivers hitting the blocking sled so today was a first Dooley had the boys lighting it up.
Looks like Bell will work at left tackle and Parnell stays on right side
Hearing that BW Webb is sitting out practice with an ankle injury. Will update after practice.

Rowan Kavner ‏@KavnerDC 1h
Terrance Williams and Dwayne Harris are winning basically every 1-on-1 red zone drill they're in. Oh yeah, that Dez guy too.
Red zone team drills. Dez scores quick TD, then heck of a play by Sean Lee to deflect a pass in back of end zone intended for Witten
Miles taking punts. Webb has been doing a lot of that, but today hes mostly running on side. Foot got caught in divot on ground yesterday.
And that's not really fair. Xavier Brewer draws Dez Bryant in team drills. Result: long TD
And Brewer actually had nice coverage. Dez had to adjust and make a play, and he did
And Anthony Armstrong follows up by hauling in a deep ball from Nick Stephens. Went up and got it.

Carlos A. Mendez ‏@calexmendez 1h
Practice. Missing the expected injured, Claiborne included. Lissemore and Kowalski out to watch. Lissemore stretching, too.
Gary Brown telling his RBs in drill to 'Come on down! Like Bob Barker!' Lol do they know what that means?
Back shoulders and fades. Dez never tuns for his first back shoulder. Romo yells. Catches next two with ease on Scandrick.
Red zone 1s vs 1s. Three snaps. Dez easy TD. Lee pbu for Witten. Sack by Hatcher.
B.W. Webb working with trainer on other field. In pads.
Two minute long field drill. Short runs, passes to Murray. Dez fourth down drop. Off his chest. Almost had the rebound. defense wins.
Bernadeau false start. Replaced by Arkin.
Clean pocket for Romo. Deep for Dez. Adjusts inside to overpower Xavier Brewer, catch and score.
Armstrong a deep catch between defenders. Dez liked it.

Charean Williams ‏@NFLCharean 1h
Terrance Williams has been a beast since returning to practice yesterday. He has caught everything.
Terrance Williams just ran the wrong route on goal line. Romo took a sack.

Clarence Hill ‏@clarencehilljr 1h
Mcsurdy blows up Hanna after catch and Murray then bumps mcsurdy for blowing up his former Ou teammate.
Selvie beats free again for sack on room
Ware with sack
Defense wins goal line drill, keeping offense out if end zone on three of four plays
Scandrick had good day in practice after being thrown out on Sunday he knocked td pass away from williams

Todd Archer ‏@toddarcher 1h
Brandon Magee working at weak side linebacker. Had been exclusively at mike at start of camp
Justin Durant working as second team MLB. Maybe he's the answer to kiffin's issue
And now Dez Bryant beats Brandon Carr for TD on other side
Sterling Moore breaks up fade to Bryant.
BW Webb not practicing. Was limping last few days but he's been pulled from practice
Jason Hatcher with two sacks in six plays. On Leary both times I believe
Not a good series for Gavin Escobar. Hold on a run. Allows a sack in pass protection
New K Brett Maher makes all six kicks from 31-44 yards. Scuffed the ground on one kick. Dan Bailey gets day off
OL James Nelson heading to locker room. Might have sprained ankle.
The Romo-to-Bryant connection has been a little off today
Bruce Carter with PBU on flag route to Witten. Slight tip at last moment
Doug Free, Tyron Smith taking second team snaps with no tackles available

Calvin Watkins ‏@calvinwatkins 2h
Kevin Kowalski might be getting close. Doing exercises with fellow linemen.
Toby Jackson with a sack. Gavin Escobar can't hold him forever.
Gavin Escobar has lost 4 lbs in camp. Down to 246.
James Hanna with a rare drop.
Church and carter with nice coverage on Witten for an incompletion
Kyle Orton overthrows Armstrong.
Orton with another high throw to Benford. Falls incomplete.
We see Joseph Randle has learned. Catches ball and tucks it high and tight.
Kyle orton with incompletion to Dunbar. Miscommunication?
Jabari fletcher lined up offsides. Leon Lett not happy.
Anthony Armstrong with a wonderful catch between 2 defenders. Jeff Heath reacted late to the pass.

Tim MacMahon ‏@espn_macmahon 1h
Starters vs starters inside 10 going in. First rep Dez Bryant gets wide open for easy TD.
Defense wins next two reps: Sean Lee PBU and Jason Hatcher sack.
Gavin Escobar gets exposed as a blocker a lot. Just gave up a sack to George Selvie.
Holding, Gavin Escobar. Hard to see him beating out James Hanna for second TE job as a rookie.
Rare drop for Dez Bryant. He reacts by pounding his fists into the ground.
George Selvie blows by Doug Free in 1-on-1s. Free reached out and grabbed his face mask and still couldn't stop him.
Jason Hatcher/Ronald Leary and DeMarcus Ware/Tyron Smith were convincing wins for the D.
DT Landon Cohen just put Travis Frederick flat on his back. Got a loud whoop and an enthusiastic shoulder slap from Jay Ratliff.
Dez Bryant snags a Romo deep ball with one hand, using the other arm to fight off CB Xavier Brewer. He catches footballs like tennis balls.
Terrance Williams catches a TD pass on a curl. Gives Romo another big target in the red zone.
Orlando Scandrick blanketed Dez Bryant on incompletion in end zone and broke up a back-shoulder fade to Terrance Williams. Good day for 32

Brandon George ‏@dmn_george 1h
Cowboys WR Dez Bryant goes up for a touch
Rough start for TE Gavin Escobar: Couldn't block Bruce Carter on Murray run, off holding then on another run, then beat for sack.
Now a dropped pass over the middle by Gavin Escobar. Rough practice.
Cowboys WR Miles Austin back fielding punts in practice.

Steven Van Over ‏@StevenVanOver 1h
Parnell & Bell held out of Scrimmage again. Doing all position drills in full pads then train w/injured players. #cowboysnatiion

Interesting about Durant. Maybe Sims is forcing the move and/or Magee not working out is forcing the move.

It might take Escobar a year or two worth of weights and practice to get where his blocking is adequate,,,, the Cowboys expected that though when they picked him. I'm really expecting(hoping) Hanna will be able to contribute this year.

Fasano was never much of a blocker. Neither was Marty at first. It's early. Don't write the guy off just yet.

I think Terrence Williams is going to be a beast for us.

I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by his development. I thought at best he would get eased into the 3rd WR role much later in the year. Looks like he may be thrust into that role Week 1 - deservedly so.

I still think we are using this guy wrong. He is a big WR. Nothing more, yet. Split him out on LB's safeties. He can learn to block.

It's early but ultimately he may have to become a Jimmy Graham type TE. I think now, they're trying to force him into becoming a more complete player. Can't blame them at this point.

At 6-6 and only 246 pounds he is way too small to be a good blocker.

He needs to add at least 20 pounds this offseason to come into camp at 265 with hopes of keeping his weight around 260 during the season. He needs to live with Woicik this offseason to work on his strength because I think he only did 9 reps on the bench. I think he just isn't strong enough to block against NFL DL and LB right now very effectively. I think it makes sense to use him when we want size mismatches against pass defenders and let Rosario and Hanna take the true #2 TE reps since they can hold up better as blockers.

Actually a large part of me still hopes we keep Smith over Rosario since he is the only go who looks like a good blocker and he has great size and surprisingly good receiving skills. He may be a year away but I hope we get to keep him on the PS if we keep Rosario as everyone expects.

He is learning to block. That's why they call these practices

I still expect Escobar to produce. If he is a difference maker in the red zone (where this team historically has problems) he could still be worthy of a high pick. I also think he will get better as a blocker, lets face it, he has to.

A 2nd round pick on a project doesn't cut it now days....You have to use 1-3 rounders on guys who can contribute immediately.......That's EXACTLY why we have been an 8-8 team lately.
