Anybody who says soccer is boring would be well-advised to watch this game. Absolutely sensational. 4-4 in the end. Good result for Manchester United (which is all that matters to me) but an absolute cracker of a game.

Andrei Arshavin might just be the best in the world.

more like awful defending. Denilson and Silvestre were TERRIBLE. Sagna probably had his worst game in an Arsenal uni. It's like he hasn't practiced since the virus. Man, we need Djourou back immediately. Silvestre is such garbage.

Most of our goals came off Liverpool errors as well. Arshavin was brilliant. His 2nd goal was a thing of beauty. His finishing is soooooo good. He had an amazing strike with each foot.

Besides Arshavin and little of Nasri/Fabianski (only the 3rd goal was really his fault), no one else showed up. Walcott was also decent when he came on for Denilson.

Yeah Silvestre and Sagna were a horror show. At least with Sagna, you know he's better than that. But why would Wenger buy Silvestre? As a United fan I can tell you that it was pretty obvious he was past it (and was never that good in his prime anyway.)

Still, an exciting match to watch. I hate Liverpool but if Old Trafford could summon half the energy that Anfield shows week in, week out, we might be running away with it at this point.

now if they shrank the field to 50% and allowed some real physical banging then it might be interesting.

yeah, silvestre is the brad johnson of center backs. it's just bad luck that we lost gallas for the season then djourou got injured a week later.

Centre back issues aside, I have to admit that Arsenal has a stacked team for the future. A wealth of attacking talent: Adebayoy, Van Persie, Eduardo, Walcott, Arshavin, Bendtner (whom I'm no big fan of, but still not a bad option off the bench), Nasri, Fabregas, Denilson. I also expect big things from Song, Wilshere and Ramsay. Diaby as well has his moments.

That being said, United have some great youngsters for the future: Macheda, Welbeck, the Da Silva twins, Anderson, Nani.

but see thats the thing. we have so much young talent, and the future looks bright.

but we won't be able to keep all those guys. much like how Hleb and Flamini left last year, I expect couple important guys to do the same. For Arsenal to continue to compete, Wenger has to open up the checkbook (Arshavin was a great start).

Otherwise we'll keep having a bunch of great young talent with nothing to show for it.

I miss the early part of the decade when we had a great mix of youth and veterans.

And I like everyone you listed for Man U except Nani. Nani thinks he's Ronaldo, but he sucks.
