Local kid has a shot playing in his 1st PGA

Scottie Scheffler is from Dallas and went to Texas. He’s playing in the final group with Dustin Johnson currently a co- leader.

Only 24 years old he was practically a child prodigy winning almost every junior and amateur tourney he played with over 75 trophies.

Never heard of Scottie Scheffler. Just looked at the today's leaderboard and he is currently -11 for the day and thru 17 holes. If he birdies 18 then he will card 59!

PGA TOUR Rookie Scottie Scheffler has produced just the 12th sub 60 round in PGA TOUR history, scorching TPC Boston with a 12-under 59 during the second round of THE NORTHERN TRUST.

The 24-year-old carded a bogey-free masterpiece with 12 birdies, six on each side of the course, to become the second youngest player to shoot 59 or better behind former FedExCup champion Justin Thomas.
