This guy was the best linebacker the Bengals had and they benched him trying to get younger.

He's not the player he was at his peak but he knows where to go and what his assignments are. He's got the instincts Kenneth Murray lacks and the physicality Jack Sanborn lacks.

Offense is cooking? You see the last couple games? Where has he been good exactly? This team is 3-5-1. Barely beat the Giants. Lost to Carolina, Chicago and Arizona. He has been terrible. BTW head coaches are responsible for the whole team not just the offense.

They needed a savvy veteran in the LB room. He has value even if his playing time is limited because all their LBs are young or named Kenneth Murray.

I still hear pre season camp echos of what a pick up Sanborn was . I’m hoping this ex Bengal LB has a lot more bite to him . And only cost a 7th rounder i like that price .

Blue has potential. Schottenheimer simply needs to get his head out of his backside and figure out how to much better use Blue.

Interesting. That was going to be Jerry’s big reveal. A 7th round trade for Wilson. Don’t get me wrong I’m very happy with it but the buildup was a lot and that would have been anticlimactic.

James has shown promise and has played well for a rookie and in spite of Eberflus scheme. Blue is very meh and I don’t get the obsession on Blue at all. Shemer is at least showing something
