Seriously, odds are long as heck for UDFA running backs. Longer than any position I can think of.

I can't remember the last one to make any impact for the Cowboys, anyway.

DAN REEVES! Almost forgot about him. Undrafted guy with a great career here albeit short due to bad knees. Any old timers remember his 36-yd TD from Meredith on the last play of the game to beat Washington 17-14 like in 1967? Reeves had to outrun the secondary and Chris Hanburger. Unbelievable play and win. (I had to look the details of this one up. When I was eight years old it made a big impact on me.)

Tyson Thompson oh yeah. Had 266 yds rushing over 3 years. Pretty good kick returner too.
