Most people think that all hope is lost and that the draft is ruined, but is it really? We've still got needs at FS, NT, and OL. BPA at each position looks like this:

FS: Ko Simpson, Pat Watkins, Antoine Bethea, Darrell Hunter, Allen Zemaitis
NT: Montavious Stanley, Gabe Watson, Babatunde Oshinowo, Steve Fifita, Jesse Mahelona, Domata Peko
OT: Jon Scott, Ryan O'Callaghan, Guy Whimper, Derek Morris
OG: Max Jean-Gilles, Fred Matua, Jahri Evans, Rob Sims, Mark Setterstrom, Chris Kuper

Some people really didn't like day 1, but with all of the picks we've got left and the players that fell, we've set ourselves up very nicely for an awesome day 2.

I think Dallas can get Jon Scott and Max Jean Guilles. With the Hatcher pick, I think Ellis has been traded. Ellis for a high 4th and 5th?? Do you guys think anyone would bite?

I like the picks. Non are sexy, but they are solid players who will help and provide nice depth.

Day 1 wasn't so bad. Got the final LB piece. Got the Parcells TE since we love 2 TE sets. Then this Hatcher kid could be interesting. Plays hard, we'll see.

Ko Simpson, no thanks, character issues.

I love Pat Watkins and would love him day 2 to compete with Beriault and Pile for a roster spot.

NT, Ireland said Hatcher could add 30lbs to play DT with his fram
Love Fifita and Oshinowo, why not Rod Wright too? No thanks to Watson, Rosenhaus guy and sloppy

OT Jon Scott or O'Callaghan is fine

OG Giles is sloppy, Sims is good but Setterstrom is a good guy to look at

This isn't Madden. You don't draft a small school DE to replace our best DE who is 4-3 player making NOTHING and adding 8-9 sacks.

No thank you

I'm actually quite thrilled with day 1, but some people around here act like it is the end of the world so I am trying to offer a different view and get them to see the error in their ways.

I'm with you on Watkins, but I think BP really likes O'Callaghan over Scott. I don't know about the OGs.

If Ellis wasn't going to be traded than why take Hatcher? I'm not saying its going to definitely going to happen, but there is a good chance it might.

Ireland said himself he has a chance of moving to DT since his frame could add 30 pounds.

Exactly!

Maybe a future NT? He is about the same size as Glover and has room to grow. Fergie's backup?

Hatcher is like 6-6+ isn't he? That's much taller than Glover.
