This is insane. This is what the Rams have done with all those draft picks so far. They did a lot of trading down with them.

Commanders Get:

Robert Griffin III

Rams Get:

2014 #5 Pick
Michael Brockers
Isaiah Pead
Janoris Jenkins
Alec Ogletree
Stedman Bailey
Zac Stacy
Rokevious Watkins

Yeah, that was one crazy, downright, stupid idea to give all those draft picks up for RG2 1/2. And, they still have to give more I think. It was almost as bad as when Ditka traded his whole draft for what's his team? The dope smoker dude.

and they are looking at another high 1st rounder this year based on how Washington is playing....so they will be able to get another high ranking player....the Rams should be able to make themselves a contender pretty soon.

yeah he's pretty much become a one hit wonder, and has set the franchise back a couple of years...you can't rely on monkeyball on the pro level because the potential of getting a devastating injury, which is why i feel Manziel is not going to make it either and why Tebow didn't make it either.

What I've read is that Shanahan wanted to stay at their pick and draft Tannehill. Doesn't guarantee he'd be doing better, BUT, they'd have those draft picks back.

What's fun about watching WSH do poorly this year is knowing that they could end up with a Top10 (maybe Top5) pick ...and it'll go to St Louis, which Rams could use to trade down and continue to load up on talent

I cant fault the skins for targeting and getting the qb they want to lead the franchise for the next 10 years plus. It was a price they were willing to pay. Whether his production ever equals that price remains to be seen.

Still not as bad as Ditka trading the farm for ole smokey.

Two high 1st rounders based on how the rams are playing

They will likely trade down with that high pick and add even more value to that trade.

That's the best part! I love watching the Commanders suffer

RG3 is never going to be the same QB he was before the injury, the speed and quickness he lost is never going to come back.

So the Skins are basically stuck with a pocket passer QB that has poor accuracy.

It's only worse for them to see two 3rd rounders Russel Wilson and Nick Foles play so well this year... especially Foles.

Hell, they could've had essentially the same value with Tannehill if they stayed put.

Not sure how the Commanders thought trading up 4 spots was worth 2 future firsts and another 2012 second round pick.

Just completely dumb no matter how you slice it.

QFT...! Nice post and I liked the "monkeyball" reference. lol

Out of that draft class only Russell Wilson seems to be the better QB from RGKnee and Kapercornick or how ever the hell you spell his name, and even he is not as good as some think. Tebow? lol

I think it's much worse. People forget that the Dolphins were able to trade Williams for four draft picks (including two first rounders).

You can't fault the skins, but I can. You never give up the farm for a player that you think MIGHT have the potential to be a great QB. I can see drafting one in the first round, and maybe trading up to do it, but not what those Skins did. That is just Looney Tunes!

And, to top it off, RGKnee is coming out questioning the coaching staff and causing himself to look foolish even to the media that last year were on Ebay bidding for his jock strap!

Rams have drafted extremely well too so give them credit.. They got bargains on guys like Jenkins and Ogletree who were both top 15 talents but had personal issues

Yep absolutely horrible trade. Just a little under when Ditka traded the whole draft for Ricky Williams in 99. Lulz. That set the Saints back forever, although they sucked back then year in year out anyways. But still.

While Tannehill is nothing special, Griffin is not that much better than him, if any at all. Especially not worth all those picks. When you are bad, you need good draft picks. They don't have that this year. That will kill them.

They gambled and went all in thinking this guy was going to set the league on fire and they would not need those picks.

I still remember Kiper going off about how Wilson would never make it in the NFL because he was too short.................................what an idiot.

Colin Kaepernick is part of the 2011 draft class, not the 2012.
