RG3

Luck was worth the risk. RG3 was not. A classic Pocket Passer with very good movement skills and surprising speed was worth the risk. A Gimmick Type QB that MIGHT be able to transition to a pocket passer was not.

Agreed. I would be insulted if I were Andrew Luck and I was compared to Griffin.

And LOL @ all the ones sucked in last year while that fraud was running his paint by numbers simplistic offense that could never be sustained in this league.

People will say...well, he's still hurt. Eventually they'll run out of excuses and admit he just isn't a top NFL quarterback.

Join me and the Rams while we laugh at the Commanders.

Maybe they can start stockpiling picks in preparation for RG4.

Oh, my sides.

This is insane. This is what the Rams have done with all those draft picks so far. They did a lot of trading down with them.

Commanders Get:

Robert Griffin III

Rams Get:

2014 #5 Pick
Michael Brockers
Isaiah Pead
Janoris Jenkins
Alec Ogletree
Stedman Bailey
Zac Stacy
Rokevious Watkins
Said it then and will say it again; if (always a big if) the Rams draft well with those picks, it is a massively lobsided trade. So far, they have done just that and the 2014 pick may even be higher than 5th overall. it could end up being the 3rd pick just after today.

Haha so true, the excuses can only go on for so long before the 'Skins and their fans are forced to admit the trade was terrible just like their QB.

Remember last season when even most of our own fans were sooo scared at the prospect of facing this clown twice a year for the next decade? HA.

Dude won't even be a starter in this league for that long.

I know. A lot of those worshippers were our own fans. Romo wasn't near on the level of Griffin.

It sounds so ridiculous now.

Seriously.

And that just goes to show how much of a crapshoot the draft is, as well as how absolutely ludicrous the RG3 trade was. You don't trade away that many picks for what you "think" is potential.

You would have thought giving up so many picks for a guy who never had a playbook would have scared them off.

I bet you were saying the same thing last year about Cam Newton, weren't you?

Maybe your beloved "classic dropback passer" Andrew Luck should pass a few career milestones before you start declaring him. the be all end all Like completing 60 percent of his passes, or something.

You don't think the difference with Matt Flynn and Aaron Rodgers is worth that? With Rodgers they are a SB contender. With Flynn, they haven't won a game.

Aaron Rodgers is a once-in-a lifetime talent, who can throw in the pocket and out the pocket and can pick-apart-defenses. RG3 can't get passed his first progression.

and they are looking at another high 1st rounder this year based on how Washington is playing....so they will be able to get another high ranking player....the Rams should be able to make themselves a contender pretty soon.

Take a stab at a qb too... They might ditch Bradford.

RG3 at his best is another Michael Vick, every now and then they wow you with their scrambling ability, their ability to run, but when you need 3rd down completions to sustain drives, thats when you see their inconsistencies. RG3 is very lucky he has Morris and a running game. if not for that he would be truly exposed if he hasnt all already been.

The Rams haven't done squat with the picks yet. And they might not do squat in the near future. The Rams don't look like they are even close to sniffing the playoffs in the near future. They had no WRs and draft Austin and Bailey and their QB tears his ACL and might not be ready for the 2014 season. They still may have no WRs since Austin hasn't done much and Bailey has been invisible.

At least Washington can say they got a playoff berth out of the deal. I doubt the Rams get into the playoffs the next 3 years.

Teddy and others... Or they can send that pick packing for a whole load of more pics and pick up Murray or Boyd in the second

Griffin is already better than Vick as a passer. Griffin has two 3000 yard passing seasons., which is the same amount as Vick has accomplished in. Griffin has a career 62.7% completion percentage. Vick's bes season was 62.6%, which was the only season he completed over 60%. Vick has averaged 215 yards per game for his career passing and rushing. Griffin is currently at 275 yards per game. Griffin is much better than Vick, but I don't know if that alone is that great of an accomplishment. He has to continue to get better to be a force in this league. I think he will probably improve some, but as a Cowboy fan I am hoping he doesn't.

This isn't Griffins fault. I pray the Commanders do something nuts and we can grab him this off-season. I'd trade them a 2nd, if somehow Shanahan stays on it might be possible... maybe not, but boy it'd be amazing to rob the Commanders of a franchise QB.
