Instead they thought 2 QB's in the first 4 rounds with only 3 picks was the right path. That trade alongwith the dumb contracts that Jerry's brother Dan has handed out will set them back for probably the next 5 years.

If Griffin turns out to be what he can be, it's totally worth it. I didn't say anything about Rodgers or Flynn on draft day--I am not making any kind of hindsight argument. I am using a present day example. The difference between he Packers with an elite QB and a garbage QB is a HUGE difference. That difference is worth everything.

Problem is your QB relies on athleticism which will give out at a certain age. Rodgers will have a longer career.
