Read down the article a bit but he thinks they can take them. Lions talking all week saying they can take them. I'm a little intrigued but without a fully healthy Slay, No Theo Riddick and both Tackles nicked, I still don't see it. IF those guys were healthy? Absolute upset alert.

The thing about playing up there is not self destructing. If Detroit can avoid the sack/fumble, INTs and giving up STs TDs, I think they can win. Seattles O is dreadful.

Detroit beating Seattle would be a huge unset, IMO. However, I'd be thrilled to see it happen because they are the least threatening potential opponent to the Cowboys.

I think a lot of people are forgetting how bad Seattle played in the NFC Championship game 2 years ago. They could hardly get anything going the first half. I believed they faked a FG... and I remember for sure they did an onside kick in order to win. Detroit can beat them if they don't turn the ball over.

Detroit lost in Seattle last year 13 to 10 on a controversial call so your telling me they have no chance. It's playoff time and anything can happen. Throw out all your stats and regular season records out the window because all teams are 0 and 0 at the moment.

Seattle stinks right now. Niners had a legitimate shot to win that game, then they lose to AZ the game before, beat the Rams, but were blown out by the Seahawks.

Seattle has some weird juju at home though, and Lions can't seem to win on a regular field. The Lions not running the ball doesn't help.

It's all going to come down to the Lion's defense.

I fully expect a really ugly game, but Detroit has a chance.

That's a fair prediction. There's enough veteran leadership on that team concerning playoff games, you'd
think that would carry them past the first round. Both of these teams lost an important game last week.
So neither team is riding high with momentum. It's probably going to be a sloppy start for each of them.

Of course, Detroit has a "puncher's chance" in this game... going to need a few things turn in their favor.
Seattle is not what they once were. Neither of these two are making it to Houston.

Missing their center and possibly missing their RT...I just don't see it with the Seattle front 7. Seattle isnt as good as they used to be, but neither is Detroit. I'll still be rooting like hell for Detroit though.
