the difference is he is a good player, a good person, a quiet guy and very versatile.
I dont think he would have any effect on the younger guys. He might be able to step in and play safety or play corner in case of emergency.
his dad played here and is in a hospital here..and gulp, he is a friend of T.O.
Great post. On top of this if we do let Henry go to free up cap room we have not lost Veteran leadership in the secondary. Also think Springs could play FS better than Henry could anyway.theebs;2657166 said:normally for a player of his age, I would agree.

oh and I think you could sign him for a zach thomas type deal.
If that's the case, I'm all for it, but if he's looking for $3-4mil/yr then no thanks...theebs;2657166 said:oh and I think you could sign him for a zach thomas type deal.

Then who would play SS, since Hamlin seems to be better suited for FS (and they paid him big $$$ to do so)?Hostile;2657182 said:Great post. Yep. Purely sympathetic reasoning for Springs potentially coming here. If it wasn't for his dad, this thread wouldn't even exist!!TheCount;2657208 said:This is really what it boils down to for the pro-springs folks, his family's history here. If it were any other 33 year old corner, they wouldn't want him here either.
Are we forgetting exactly how the Zach Thomas deal turned out? With him saying he hates it here, despite all that homegrown Texan stuff they said before we signed him.
I hope so, Hos!Hostile;2657221 said:Patrick Chung.
