Now if only someone could tell Stephen Jones to stop shopping at Ross in free agency. Most of these bargains DON'T pan out. We've literally had to cut or trade away like 7 of those free agents we signed.
Mccoy, poe, worley, haha just to name a few this year.

We came into the season tremendously deep on the oline. With our top 4 Ts out - Top 5, counting Martin - we're now in trouble. How many teams wouldn't be?

Flashy oline prospects aren't necessarily needed either. Belichick's got by for years on the cheap with his oline. I wouldn't spend a top ten pick to sit on the bench for a year, hoping someone gets injured.

Zeke was a Romo window pick. Questionable decision with Romo's health history, obviously a loser in hindsight, but an interesting question if Romo had played like 2014, adding Zeke's monster rookie season.

With Lamb we have an NFL ready WR#1. WR's usually take years to develop. Too much value there to pass up. We'll have the option in 2022 to wave goodbye to Cooper, Gallup, or *both*, riding with Lamb as our #1 for 3 more years. That's a hell of a lot of value for pick 17. I'm taking that and liking it.

Oh you want to bring Belehek into this debate? Go look at what he pays WRs and RBs. He wouldn't have drafted Lamb or Zeke or signed Amari to that ridiculous contract.

Tremendously deep on the OL? We had nobody at center, a LT with a bad back, and poor play at RG. I'd say OL was a huge need going into the off season. But, we needed that WR b/c the goal here is to recreate Matt Millen's dream WR core apparently.

Bad examples.

Ten drafted a 1st rd 5th overall on a wr in 2017.
Patriots have drafted 1st round wrs.
Chiefs drafted rb and wr with their 1st picks last 2 years.

If you can't see the difference between what we do and what those teams do, then there is no point starting a football discussion with you.

If you cant see that just drafting oline and dline only isnt going to make you instant superbowl champs then idk.

Was listening to Sturm today. In 11 games we are on our 15th Oline combination this season. That doesn’t help any QB/RB and Offense

The graphic on the MNF game said the Eagles have had 10 combinations, and it was the most in the league!

Well unless Sturm counted wrong..I think on the Skins game alone we changed 3-4 times. He counted them up to 15.

Half the nfl last year, wr in the 1st lol
Wrong. 6 WR’s taken in the first is far from 16, you’re not even close. Just as many OT’s were taken in the first and 5 LB’ers went in the first.
