I felt so bad after the loss yesterday. I was sad and not my usual self at all.

How can I get over this?

Realise that we're still #1 in the NFC East, tied for #1 in the NFC and that we still have more than half the season to go and don't have time to dwell on a loss. We gotta get ready for Minnesota homie!!

This loss is so much harder because it was against NE. Something about that team that makes this loss thougher to swallow. But like you guys said, get over it and realize that there is still lots more game ahead. Thanks!

Heck, we're one game better than I had hoped we be at this point. 5-1 is fine and there's nothing wrong with that.

Think. We're the best team in the NFC right now. We have a good team that is continually learning lessons... and a big lesson came yesterday.

Just like Jimmy's 92 team had to get whupped by the Eagles early in that season (and really by Detroit in the playoffs the previous year)... it won't hurt a thing to get humbled in the middle of an unbeated run. These games tend to focus on weaknesses that we can shore up. The games against Washington, NY and Philly are more important by far than this intra conference match up.

Besides, if we do see them again... the edge will be with us. It's very hard to beat a good team twice in the same season.

There's some positives for you.

To relize it is part of the game just as winning is part of the game. We play 16games and lost our 1st game to go 5-1 in the season. I'm sure there are many teams who would love to be sitting where this team is right now. We lost to a very good Pats team and hopefully we will have a chance to see them again.

I don't let football games dictate my moods. I thoroughly enjoyed the first three quarters of the game. We lost it in the home stretch, but it was really a David vs. Goliath type of math-up, and David didn't bring his sling-shot.

I'm quite proud of our team. We stood toe to toe with the biggest monster in the NFL ... and got trounced. Our 2ndary was simply outmatched. Jacque and Nate were simply not up to the task ... what did we really expect from 2 former 7th rounders?

We have Minny to look to now. I've put the game behind me. So have the Cowboys. 5-1 isn't too bad. I'll take it any day.

On the bright side, we didn't allow Randy Moss to go nuts all over us.

Bad news is, we still gave up 48 points.

Just be glad you haven't been on the band wagon very long. This is hardly the worst the Cowboys have been through. Those three years of 5-11 with Campo were pretty hard to swallow as were the last few Landry years and the first year under Jimmy.

I think this game hit badly was because of our high expectations. During the losing years, we didn't have any expectations.

But I just expected us to keep the game slightly closer.

I'm ready to take it out on Minny. :bang2:
