Let's try it and find out.

The only thing people could say Witten (used to) have a one up on was blocking, but even now... his blocking is overrated.

I love Witten but I think in this type of offensive system that McCarthy has ran that it actually suites Jarwin better. Witten in a run based offense and his ability as a true TE (receiving and blocking) was a better fit but based on how I see TE in WCO style of offense the ability to work deep down the middle is more important.

duh, but if you didnt notice his blocking in 2018 then you just dont know. Witten is 37 yrs old. A whiff here and there is understandable. But he's still a very good blocker.

Who cares about blocking. I want a TE that can catch and turn it up and make big yardage. Witten ain't it. If we want someone that can just block put an extra tackle there.

Whiff here and there. A dropped passed here and there. 3rd and 7 and we only get 6 yards. Its slowly becoming a Witten trademark.
