Lost for Giants that no one is mentioning

We keep harping on the lack of playing ability of Henry, but the player that caused us the most problems the first time out for the Giants was William Joseph. We was in our backfield all day, and will be out for the game. Couple that with Will Allen being out and thats 2 key players on their D that cause depth problems for them.

Flo was here for the last game and I think we probably gave Rob more help than we can this game cause Tucker will have his hands full...

having Gurode may help with the running game. his forte being inside blocking, we may get some push up the middle and hopefully JJ will have a breakout game. Tiki is my first worry also, but i admit plax and co. give me some trepidation also. it hinges on eli and the pressure we can bring - i think we'll blitz a bit more. the game really will come down to who can get their QB time in the pocket...

I like that word. Nice, but I also think Eli has been more predictable lately. He seems to channel in om Shockey on long down and distance plays. I hope we've played attention to this and maybe TNew can frustrate Shockey again if we go with that same game plan.

yup, I think it's going to be all about the ability to stop Shockey w/ just our linebackers (and Shanle is just plain SLOW)

their defense gets a lot of props, but its banged up and due for a whoopin'. Crayton will be back, Colombo will probably see some playing time, Johnson i think will start again but Gurode will get more snaps too. we're rested and better prepared. Several reasons to believe JJ might have a big day. He hasn't given us much this year - its time for him to make it happen.

Tiki Barber is a menace and is going to make some plays; the defense is just going to have to continue to bring its A-game. It's high time Julius Jones breaks out of his restraints.

I've been hard on Drew. Actually, I would like to think I've been fair in my assessment of Drew's play this year. In short, I will say that Drew will have a good day Sunday. I anticipate the game being an ugly one but Drew will make the plays that NEED to be made. '

I predict a game much like the Philly game that we played in 03. The game was ugly as the opposing defenses were killing the offenses for both sides. The scoring was close and the game was tight the whole day. The clinching play came down to a short pass over the middle to Galloway from Quincy to get a new set of downs and the ability to run out the clock.

I think our offense will be able to move the ball a bit better than we did against the Eagles in 03 but it will be a similar game with us pulling it out. Drew will be the difference in this one.

Joseph hasn't played at all in several weeks. He's been injuried.
