That can't be true.

People posting in the game thread said otherwise.

it was a good crowd today, lot of energy before and during the game.

Hopefully it carries over to next week.

How many in the house? I was predicting around 100,000. Did they announce this?

I saw an official report of 100k. Can't find the link offhand though, I think it was ESPN.

That is all.
I was wondering how loud it was. Listening to the TV, it didn't sound that loud.

I'm sorry to tell you, but being a season ticket holder I've been to a few games over the years. This was hardly a loud game today, it was loud at times, but like all Cowboys games our crowd is not consistent enough.

Certainly couldn't tell on TV. Fox mutes the audience pretty good most of the time, unlike CBS which seems to have mics at various places around the stadium, specifically for crowd noise. Good thing their announcers like to yell a lot.

Of course neither are as bad as NFL Network where the stupid PA guy drowns out the announcers.

Dont ever judge a crowd based on the television broadcast. They can make it loud or quiet by turning a knob.

I went to the 1993 and 1995 NFC Champ games at Texas Stadium, and had a ringing in my ear for 2 or 3 days after the games. Both of those games were the loudest I had ever been to, and the crowd around me was liquored up pretty good.

If that's the case then neither has been to many games (college or pro) if they think that today was a loud game. Today was yet another pathetic game for our fan base when compared to other NFL cities.

Candy coat it any way you want, we have a pathetic fan base compared to other NFL cities as far as crowd noise is concerned. I find it unlikely that you've been to "a bunch" of stadiums if that was a good crowd to you. Maybe high school stadiums.

it was a good crowd today. Not sure what your problem is with it.

and yes, I have been to many. Nothing will ever be louder than buffalo in the early 90s before the renovation I dont think for me, but it was a good crowd.

the crowds this year have been poor, but today they were pretty good. hopefully next week it continues.
