Sign him after the season. Ah don't care.

But lock him up in a handshake agreement.

Make him our head coach next year.
Gruden don't want to be in Louisville.
And you don't want others making him offors.
So just go git him and thank you Jerra.

Stay classy, Jerra.

I heard Golic on Mike and MIKE talking about this several weeks back. He said that Jon Gruden is an NFL guy and would only take an NFL position. It's his passion. Gruden does not want to have to babysit the college kids.

Just do it Jerry!

yea.
no thanks.
Gruden is a loser and grown men don't respond to his 5-foot arrogance.

True. But given the potential openings what would you do.

Rush to a team like the Bills or Skins or wait and interview for all openings at the end of the season.

I just can't see any of the big name coaches taking on someone else's team mid year. Be getting off to a bad start if you come in and continue to lose and the team looks just as bad as before you got there. Better to wait and start fresh.

I don't want Gruden because I don't want to hear "Chuckie" everytime the Cowboys are mentioned.

I think Gruden will go to the college ranks and coach Notre Dame.

Some of our fans are as loony as bat doodoo. This guy is a broke down qb collector and excellent color commentary booth guy, nothing more and nothing less.

I seriously doubt any coach worth having would work for Jerry Jones under the conditions he imposes. Jerry wants puppets he can control not real men with leadership qualities that bring success and overshadow Jerry's perception of his own greatness. I Feel Jerry's only interested in his own ego gratification and is not willing to share glory with anyone; hence, I doubt any true glory of winning with him calling all the shots ever comes his way.

As long as things stay the same, I expect the next 13 years to pretty much mirror the last 13 years.

Not my problem to solve, it's Jerry's and he will not solve it because the solution requires him to back off and he won't.

It's his toy and he can play with it any way he wants to.

I continue to watch the local pro team play but I have long ago quit caring whether they win, lose or whatever. It's not my problem.

Using that logic, the team he played that year (the Raiders) was his team that another coach rode to the SuperBowl. So, in essence, both team were Gruden's teams to one degree or another. I don't think that was an accident. He has more than proven he can win in this league.

I'm not saying he would be my choice, but the man deserves some credit.

Cant say it worries me any. He isnt an elite coach IMO.

Also, he had a chance already to go to Notre Dame and I thought I remembered him saying he wasnt interested in it. Cant imagine he'd go to Louisville afterward.
