the problem with our offense is we don't really run plays to get guys wide open or the ball on the run. Look how many freaking hitch and comebacks routes our team runs smh. Or our favorite play 2 yard fare route wehn we need 5+ yards to the most unatheltic TE in the nfl who rarely breaks a tackle anymore lol.

i could only image what a andy reed, sean payton, bill bilicheat or Mike McCarthy like headcoach/ play caller could do with what we got on offense. Heck the Patriots are doing it with really a great TE and the rest no name wr's, no name rb's and etc. There offense made Matt Cassel Look good, let that sink in.

I wouldnt mind mixing him in to go routes specifically from the slot just to Open things up. He doesnt need to be a great route runner tohelp the offense.

Interesting to think about, I think the odds are good we pick up a #2 caliber WR with deep speed. If a burner and Dez are on the outside with Lucky as the Slot and Dunbar as the RB, its something Linehan can do a lot with.

Wouldn't that be fun? Think about Corey Coleman or Pharoah Cooper opposite Dez. Unfortunately, I have little hope. Redball just doesn't believe in creative exploitation of talent.

I dunno. The jet package is simple, safe and was a very effective facet of the run game the once or twice it was used in a few games this year. But despite the effect it has demonstrated to have on opposing defenses, the Dallas brain trust refuses to use it for more than a token play here or there. I don't get it.

I think Dunbar resumes his role as slot back when he's healthy.

But Dunbar gets hurt each year so there is a place for Lucky .
