I'd throw a 5th round draft pick at them for Christine Michael and see what they think

I think it would. Murray is probably going to be top 3 in RB salary.

If lynch gets more then 9 million I can see MURRAY as good as gone since he'll ask for more than that

John Clayton reported it's 11million with a 9 million dollar signing Bonus. Something like that may be too rich for Dallas.

It looks like the Market is officially set at rb. Marshawn was due to get 7 million next season but Seattle will give him between 9-11 million now. To keep Murray Jerry has to at least start at 8 and hope Murray gives him a discount. I think Murray will get between 9-10 somewhere else now.

I think that the $8 million is top end for Dallas.

Murray's here and now totals for the past three seasons aren't quite at the very top level...and 27 is the Cowboys' top end age for a running back. I think that long termed considerations put a ceiling in the picture on Murray. Sorry, Murray...it's take it or leave it time.

I don't think you set a market for multiple year deals with a one year deal.

Murray wants a long term contract. Seattle wasn't willing to pay Lynch 11 million per on a long term contract.

I'll be pissed if we give a Murray 8 million when I know we could probably get Hardy for 5 or 6 million.

It's sort of like Seattle paid Lynch "RB franchise tag" money for 1 more year of his services.

On your side, would be Joseph Randle and some valid running backs in the first three rounds.

I don't see JJ's range expanding to $8mm+ a year. I think they would look at the Draft and/or a guy like Ingram who they may get at around $4-5mm/year.
