Read on NFL.com that John Lynch was given permission to explore his options because he wasn't happy with his role in Denver.

Should we go after him and have him starting with Hamlin and move RW to lb permanently?

I can't see any good reason to make a move like that. Lynch is basically the same kind of player Roy is. Same kinds of skills. Why go out and spend more money to get a guy we already have and then play Roy out of position? I don't think that would be wise. JMO.

In a word.......NO

Lynch is not the player he used to be. Even Roy covers better than Lynch plus Roy is down to 220 lbs no where near big enough for a 3-4 linebacker.

Overrated, always has been. NEVER understood what anyone saw in this guy.
