Mahomes vs the Niners Defense

I hate the 49ers with a passion, but I’m in awe of their defense. Who here thinks Mahomes will shred the Niners defense?

Mahomes has the escapability, arm strength, accuracy, and receivers to shred the Niners. I’m hoping for a classic shootout with Mahomes coming out on top.

It's hard for me to pick O over D if the defense is for real. Mahomes had the luxury of all day in the pocket against the Titans. When he couldn't find someone he took off with success. I can see one or the other happening, but not both against the 49ers.

Gun to my head I'd have to pick the 49ers. But if the Chiefs D can pressure the 49ers QB and KC's OLine doesn't get dominated up front, I think they have a shot. The one thing I don't think is going to happen is Mahomes scanning the field and taking off like he's in a play ground.

* You did actually watch that game, right @Flamma ? Most notably as to my inquiry, that being the first half of game play, correct?( Fer'crying out loud,man!!! It appeared to me that that very manjack of DAN REEVES. hisself had guided TENNESSEE in that first half of game play

SF defense and KC offense will be a very even battle.

The KC defense will determine the outcome - whether or not they can eliminate mistakes.

If KC gets away with blatant Holding on every Passing Play like against the Titans Mahomes should have an easy Ring.

KC will win. GB just couldn't stop the run. KC was able to slow down Derrick Henry whose better than anyone running the ball for SF. You can bet Andy Reid is going to make Jimmy Garapollo beat him.

The 9ers corners won't be able to cover the Chiefs, so it basically comes down to whether or not they'll be able to tackle them quickly.

Worth every penny to the niners right now... They are Super Bowl bound for the first time in almost a decade...

but can they maintain it? that potent d line, three starters on their first contracts, will eventually want to get paid ... and the backside of the d anchored by an aging, but still very good, richard sherman ... be interesting to see what lynch can keep together ...

While Mahomes is very mobile, their ends are super quick. It won't be easy for Mahomes to improvise.
