Leary & Martin, depends where he lines up I guess.
Will be interesting to watch.

I think Leary has played really well, but he will have a couple of snaps per game where he has problems with a quick DL. He offsets any issues he has by punishing DL on most running plays with his size and power. I keep hearing how the three 1st round picks are the reason for this OLs success, but Leary has also been a big part of it.

Who does Aaron Donald line up against this week and how to you control him?

Bryan: Donald is not the starter for the Rams at this point of the season but that will most likely change here in the near future. He will line up as the under tackle in their four man line which means that he will spend time over

Zack Martin and Ronald Leary. Just a side note there was only one offensive linemen at the Senior Bowl that was able to handle Donald on a consistent basis and that was Martin.

David: Donald might not be the starter in St. Louis just yet, but he looks like he’s going to be just as disruptive as he ever was. Pro Football Focus said Monday that Donald is leading the league in tackles for loss, with four through two games. It’s going to be fun to see how well Martin squares off with his Senior Bowl rival. If he has a strong game against a team that was so obviously interested in drafting him, it will be an interesting story.

Yes, I think Leary has been left out in the discussion on success they are showing so far.

Murray has about 1,000,000 yards against the Rams already, and he might double it this weekend.

Finesse defensive line that will be missing Chris Long. Quinn is an excellent pass rusher, but weak run defender. Murray might go for 200 again on them.

Well, seeing that Martin made a name for himself at the Senior Bowl by being the only OLman there that could handle Donald 1-on-1, I'd bet they keep Donald on Leary the whole game. Also, I could see them stacking the box w/ 9 men on 1st/2nd downs in an all-out effort to stop our #1 rushing attack, and Murray, who's owned them historically. So, this could be Romo's breakout game as his WR's should face single coverage most of the day. Which would be a great confidence boost to the team w/ NO rolling in next. If we could string a few victories together, things will get real interesting. This season is beginning to look a whole lot better than I thought it would be.

The Rams are going to have to committ a lot of resources to stop the explosive Dallas run game. Fisher will watch the first two games Dallas played and he is going to know that if Dallas runs like that against them, they will most assuredly lose. So, he is going to have to do something to slow Murray down. That means committing to 8-9 men in the box, as well as playing their better run stopping DL (not Donald) and there's just no way around that for the Rams.

I would look for a bigger passing day out of the offense, at least initially, and then as Fisher sees Dez and Co. having a big day, he'll have to back off the line of scrimmage some and that is when Murray will gash them.

This is what a powerful run game does for an offense... and what it does to the defense.

Better question is who gets Quinn? If I were the rams I would line him up against free 100% of the time

Doesn't the 3 technique line up on side away from where offense puts TE...ie weakside/strongside. the offense to some degree can get the 3 Tech to line up over the guard they want to more often than not by the formation they choose (where TE lines up initially) and then can motion him to where they want him
