LOL. Just making sure you fellas are awake.
Heck, after 4 years of BP's middling 34-32 record, even Denny Green sounds comparable to what we had with BP. LOL.

No gents youth and fire in the belly types is what is needed now. The Prophet likes what he is hearing about Les Miles.

Thoughts?

I actually wouldn't be that upset if Denny Green was our next HC.

  • The guy knows offense. Comes from the Bill Walsh school but was never afraid to adapt and change with personel
  • Working with Randy Moss and Cris Carter had to be harder than TO and Terry Glenn
  • He is one of the best talent evaluators. His drafts match up favorably with anyones
  • He made QB's with less talent than Romo have probowl type seasons
  • His players love him and love playing for him
  • After a hard loss, I would rather have the coach get pissed off than to look helpless and sick

If there was a way to match him up with Singletary or Riviera, I think the team would be upgraded considerably from a coaching standpoint

Through the 90s, he had the 9th best winning record in NFL history and held the best winning percentage of NFL active coaches.

I'm not just sayin', just sayin'

good point - good point...i was not aware of that.

my general impression of green isn't nearly as high as lovie smith, ron rivera or rex ryan. would i cry if it were him? nah. but i'd hold my breathe for a bit.

Yes, it took a genius to recognize that Matt Leinart had some skills. And he signed an over-the-hill Emmitt "I Got Moves" Smith several years ago.

I just can't think of any draft-day brainstorms by Denny. But every dog has his day, right?

YES, INDEED: NEXT!!:)

Yeah. I remember that. Him and Doc hopped in the Delorean and went back and slapped Biff around, too.

You know it's desperation time when Denny Green's name comes up in the conversation. Norv Turner, Wade Phillips, etc. How about that Richie Kotite ?? He's still out there.

Man this is ugly.
