He put a seat next to the field. I say maybe Murray because he's missed practices so far.

We have a lot of guys that for whatever reason take a little day off, so I just wanted to make sure they had a nice little seat," Jenkins said via Philly Voice, "a place in the shade while we're all working out here.

Players miss time in TC/practice all the time. It's called being cautious. Hell, Romo has scheduled days off every week. Witten, too.

All this stuff instead of just getting in the reps in practice.

This is why the Eagles will always keep losing.

This sounds like the type of behaviour that earns you the Chipexpress out of Philly, careful now.

I figured that it may have happened..... But was referring to a player going back to original team on his own and by way of new team letting him go back.

The Duane Thomas situation kind of was that in a nutshell.

Thomas helped the Cowboys make the Super Bowl in 1970 by stepping in at running back for an injured Calvin Hill. Thomas felt that he was underpaid, and made overtures about holding out to get more money. Tex Schramm traded him to the Patriots for RB Carl Garrett. Thomas had problems with the Patriot head coach, John Mazur, immediately. Mazur wanted his running backs to play in a split backfield in a three point stance. Thomas questioned this, as in Dallas, he was able to be in a two point stance, which made it easier for him to see and read the opposing defenses. Mazur insisted that he do it the way that Mazur wanted. Thomas refused. The Patriots then voided the trade, and Thomas went back to Dallas.

Interestingly enough, Carl Garrett was very happy to get out of New England, and go to Dallas. After the trade, he was quoted as saying that he was looking forward to being able to run behind a real offensive line for a change. When the trade was voided, I'm sure that Garrett's reunion with his Patriot brethren didn't go so smoothly.

Thanks for that.

Says Roselle voided it specifically.
