It's sad, yes - but, this is football folks. Let's just hope and pray we don't see the headlines with the dreaded ACL/MCL, Achilles, etc..........

Nooooooooo! Why'd you say it? We can't lose key players every year to basically season ending or season ending injuries. Right? Probability has to be on our side.

and that's how im looking at it. he's going to have 2-3 weeks to prepare for the opener guys, he'll get 1 or 2 preseason games in also.

I guess we'll have to trade for Muhammad Wilkerson now.

Welp. That should end the T Crawford to LDE rumors. Hopefully DLaw gets his suspension removed.

NFL Football has become just like thoroughbred horse racing. These guys are finely tuned
automobiles or racing horses in that anything that happens puts them out of commission
for extended periods of time. The NFL as a whole has a big problem with injuries as does
the NBA. Really, the NFL needs to increase team sizes and increase game day roster sizes
but, because of the CBA and union work rules won't happen anytime soon. Now back in the
really old days, guys just rubbed some dirt on it and kept playing even with broken bones and
bloody faces.

It will also allow them to keep one of the younger and hopefully promising players on the roster, until Collins is ready to return.
As I said, my bet is he starts on PUP. Therefore giving players like McAdoo, Walker, Coe a chance to see what they can do. As well as keeping others around, like Jack Crawford, T. McClain [if he can even stay healthy].

Like Walt Garrison....played with a broken leg to finish a game.
Who was it, Ronnie Lott, told them to cut off the tip of a broken finger so he could get back on the field.

No matter how you look at it, the injury is a set back, especially for a rookie. He'll probably spend those 2-3 weeks getting his conditioning back.

why are agents giving injury info to random people instead of proven beat writers.

Nothing against camianng who broke the news on twitter but I am just assuming its an agent telling her this info.

My question is why? Why would an agent give injury info to a random person on twitter who is a fan as opposed to a proven solid beat writer like Todd Archer? Why is an agent giving out injury info in the first place shouldn't he have let the team announce this on their terms today when Garrett speaks?

or am I wrong and did a player tell her to help her with whatever is she needs this info for?

I guess it really does not matter, it is broken either way

Yea that's the truth, I just find this kind of thing strange and it seems to be happening more and more. I am assuming its an agent giving out info but I could be wrong and it could be a player or staff member who passed this along and other info seemingly constantly.

pretty sure there is enough credentialed media covering this sport and this team that should be the ones with the info.
