Yea that's the truth, I just find this kind of thing strange and it seems to be happening more and more. I am assuming its an agent giving out info but I could be wrong and it could be a player or staff member who passed this along and other info seemingly constantly.
pretty sure there is enough credentialed media covering this sport and this team that should be the ones with the info.
Maybe this writer just got the info out quicker than others? Who knows. In the end it is 10 to 12 weeks out regardless of who is reporting.
wont miss any games. should have a little time to get ready before the season, might still be able to play in atleast 2 preseason games to get ready fellas
Per Cowboys Facebook if anyone can link
...
This gets old every year. ####!
I will bet anybody one adult social beverage right now that he will start the regular season on PUP...any takers?
It would make a lot of sense. Give the foot a lot of time to heal. (same injury as Dez & Tank) And he gets to practice a few weeks before being made active. On the flip-side he probably could contribute on pass rushing downs if he can play at the start of the season.
It wouldnt be an issue if Jones did screw up the draft. Taking a RB with the first pick, a 2nd round mental case DE last year, a 2nd round LB that wont play for at least a year, ect...ect....ect..... Is it any wonder we lack depth and talent on the defense?
NFL Football has become just like thoroughbred horse racing. These guys are finely tuned
automobiles or racing horses in that anything that happens puts them out of commission
for extended periods of time. The NFL as a whole has a big problem with injuries as does
the NBA. Really, the NFL needs to increase team sizes and increase game day roster sizes
but, because of the CBA and union work rules won't happen anytime soon. Now back in the
really old days, guys just rubbed some dirt on it and kept playing even with broken bones and
bloody faces.
Like Walt Garrison....played with a broken leg to finish a game.
Who was it, Ronnie Lott, told them to cut off the tip of a broken finger so he could get back on the field.
