He's got a lot of room to grow, but he's got pretty rare off the snap speed for a guy his size. Sometimes, he looks like he has a Warren Sapp ceiling.

Edit: "Inconsistent" is always the word that pops in my head when watching him play.

He needs more upper body strength. He is very quick for a big guy and could develope into a fine player. Looks like he has the lower body strength but I see plays where he gets over powered which is a combination of technique which he will learn and upper body strength

You can't teach the speed off the ball he has though, he'll get stronger going through an NFL strength program.

Heres hoping Marinelli gives him one thought when he's in the game..........get upfield and that will reduce his inconcistency tremendously. It fits at the 3-tech without problems, and on passing downs could even give us the same at 1-tech.

Yep. Thats the slight knock that makes people wonder. Marinelli will instill consistency.

Like the pick too.

Upper body strength really isn't THAT big of a deal compared to core and legs.

And like you said, that side of it will come.
