Maliek Collins

Interesting point about Crawford.

I have no idea what they're going to do with him.

I would they they'll turn over every stone they can to get a DE who can rush the passer using speed and not power.

No financial advantage to releasing Crawford... Going back inside could be the result.

Really good draft for DEs even if we are 29-32 we should be able to get a starter.

I would hope.

By pick 34 the good DE's were gone in this year's draft. That's how the Cowboys ended up drafting Smith. They would have taken a DE at #34 if one was there that merited the pick.

This is the deepest draft for DE's I can remember. It's stacked. We can honestly probably find a guy at the end of the 2nd that we would have taken at the top of the 2nd this year.

Depending on Lawrence, and since he's a FA after next year (DE's are expensive), i'd almost be tempted to take two DE's #1 and #2. Best case, we think Lawrence is worth resigning and have Lawrence, two top picks, and Tapper at the position. Worst case, we don't resign Lawrence and roll with the two top picks with Tapper.

With the lack of top WR's and Tackles this year, you'll probably get a run on them in the 2nd from teams drafting for need. There's a good chance a talented DE could drop. It's that deep.

I think there is a 0% chance TMcClain plays as well next year as he does this year, so I'd really like to see TCrawford moved back inside and MCollins playing the one tech
I'd really like to see Crawford moved to the unemployment line.

I believe McClain is a free agent after this season. If he stays healthy he'll get expensive.

He has a lot of upside and to think he's only going to get better. This team has some DT depth

Now if they can only find some DE's

I'm thinking this young man will be a very valuable piece going forward...Scary to know he is only going to get better.

If Tapper was out there contributing ...this would easily be one of the best drafts ever.
Even without Tapper contributing, this has easily been one of the Cowboy's best drafts in quite some time.

I liked Laa
I think he's going to be a good one. We might have gotten lucky that Nebraska started two gapping him his last year in school. His sophmore year he had 4.5 sacks and 13 tackles for a loss when he was 1 gapping more. He was also playing beside Randy I think, but he's much better in this role.

Also shoutout to Lawrence. 9 pressures last night. Guy's been "limited" in every single practice this year but 9 pressures is incredible.
I liked Lawrence's pressures as well, but what I didn't like was Lawrence constantly losing his traction when he was turning the corner on his pass rush. Don't know if it was a cleat issue, or Lawrence being off balance somehow.

Good point about the depth of DE's for the upcoming draft.

My only concern with Crawford going back inside his he might not be able to withstand the pounding he takes inside. Notice how healthy Crawfords been this year playing mostly DE?

I have no problem going DE and DE to start the draft.

Add a FA and possibly Tapper that's a good start to fixing that position.

If it's possible and we add too many DE's, shove Crawford back inside.

Two DE lineman should definitely be our first two draft choices.

I don't know if we'll ever have a better draft class than the Dirty Dozen. If you don't know which class I'm talking about, look it up.

The Cowboys did - 1964.

Three Hall of Famers in one draft class - Mel Renfro, Bob Hayes and Roger Staubach.
