Malik Davis is waived - but expected back on PS

They should nickname Malik "the cat" because dude has 9 lives. I swear that guy has been coming back and forth form the active roster and practice squad for a decade now.

They did he got like six carries in two games for like no yards.... What they need to do is bring down Mafah..... They don't like the small backs apparently the blocking doesn't seem to be consistent enough that we need the bigger dudes to make their own holes consistently if they like big guys it's not going to be a lot of blue but people were making fun of blue well Davis did less....

I'm ready for Phil bring down Big Phil... Why not on the bye week where is this guy?.

Now neither one of them have been impressive but I'd rather give it to the rookie But really we need to bring Phil Mafah come on down big boy This is a power run game and doesn't look like the little guys can handle it they gotta make their own holes gotta break that first tackle..

NO more Blue is likely, but We have to hear whether he's coming off IR first I haven't heard his name all year.... I hope so but in the meantime blue needs all the reps he can get he's a rookie.. Maybe he'll catch up to the speed cause the dudes got home run ability he's got a lot of wiggle but he seems to be thinking a lot so the more carries he gets the better I think that's the plan Put another guy on offense at least has the ability to break one..

People can get off his shortened curly's now about his fumble because got a lot of other guys doing that too they got lucky that George Pickens fumble was recovered we had another fumble from Williams a fumble from Ferguson everyone's all on blue with his own special thread about how he fumble yeah right take a look in the mirror a lot of guys making mistakes right now....

Yeah but your starter only got like sixteen carries it was a physical game you do realize II know you're used to it but you don't need to rotate people in and out when your main runner only gets 16 touches you know I I'd rather see him get 20 and nobody else get any But that offensive line has been up and down since that Carolina game they're either not opening holes but you need a guy in there that can break the first tackle That's why we need to get Big Phil in here and have them to go at it Thunder and Thunder....

I've been saying since the Spring practices that both Phil Mafah (Thunder) and Jaydon Blue (Lightning) should have been part of our active RB group alongside Javonte Williams and Hunter Luepke (FB), but Brian Schottenheimer doesn't know what he is doing or how to use them.

Wonder if this is just to make room for Wilson and Williams as they only traded away Smith.

They got another week to decide on if Davis comes back up or if it's Mafah time

Hopefully this is a sign, with this season virtually over, that we are finally going to get Blue some touches and experience to see what he is capable of doing.

Also, no reason to run Williams into the ground this year. We have seen enough, to want to resign him moving forward. He does not need to be killing himself this year for a new contract.

Please start playing some young players to help develop them for next season. We need to see significantly more of Flournoy. Especially if, Pickens is unable to be signed.

We don't need to lose on purpose, but we need to develop players for the future, and if it results in a higher draft pick that is a great thing.

Neither one of them have it played well enough to care which ones active and not active I think from here on out they'll give Blue the rest of the snaps until big Phils ready...

I think they were just trying to uh give Davis a shot what if he turned into Rico 'cause that's what happened to Rico he was in the same exact spot about three years doing nothing it started to click last year finally they're hoping Davis something clicks and maybe they were giving him a chance to see if he clicked and was any better than blue and it turned out he wasn't...


Here's what fans should worry about why is it that it appeared and I'm not saying it's a fact that our backup offensive lineman were better than our starters or is it just that they were trying to get reacclimated and gel together because ever since we've been adding back in the starters it's been going downhill they're not opening as many holes and they're definitely not pass blocking at all the last two games that have been horrible 1 of the worst pass blocking teams in the NFL and that is our problem not who the backup running back is I can stick with Williams for 20 carries he's only been getting 15 or 16 we don't need a backup running back unless he gets hurt because he needs more carries not less..

Most always complain about something. If they don’t have anything to complain about they will invent something.
But right now this team is giving many, including myself, to complain on just about everything.
