This team feels different for two reasons. First, both the immediate and long term future look bright so the sting of a playoff loss is blunted due to the new found championship window appearing to be open for the foreseeable future. Second, the inevitable doom of another Romo letdown has been removed. Even the hold out Romo backers have to admit that Dak brings an air of optimism to the team. It is a relief to be optimistic instead of living in perpetual fear of Romo stumbling through another week 17 or playoff crapfest.
Well said indeed !!!

Agreed. It's different than 2014. I feel much better about our future and don't fear any collapse. I also like the LEADERSHIP quality we now have and I have far more faith in this team than I ever had with the 2014 team, and they were a very good team. I don't have the "we better win it this year, this is our only shot" feeling. We will be around a lot longer than just this year.

Sarge Heaven help the NFL once we get this Defense halfway fixed

the big difference this year to me is that we have the number 1 seed as a possibility.

If the 14 team was the one seed I think they make the Super Bowl. Hopefully this team will get to stay out of Green bay and seattle.

Going to detroit or tampa/atlanta is not really a big deal if we end up as a wild card but it would mean we have to play the extra game and go to seattle for sure.
