Among the myriad of sanctions levied against the Patriots by the NFL for New England's football tampering is a hefty $1 million fine. If one delusional internet user gets his wish, the Pats won't have to pay a dime.

A man named Michael J. Whitman from Spokane, Washington, has started a crowdfunding page on ********.com, because somebody has to speak up when billionaires are forced to surrender miniscule slices of their fortunes.

I sincerely hope this person is starting this crowdfunding campaign as a joke. This is beyond ridiculous.

Do these people understand that neither Kraft, Brady nor Bellichek will ever come visit them and pay their bills?

I love my Cowboys but I surely won't start any campaign to help pay the contract for AP if he wants to come to Dallas and the Cowboys can't afford it cause Jerry is seeing some rough times at the moment...

Yeah, let's help this guy out of all people pay his bills, because he's clearly having trouble with his life... Of course having the tax-payers fit an unprecedented amount of the bill for Gilette Stadium shows how charitable this guy is to the common folk..

Can't hate on him for enjoying his life, but this idea of helping him out is just ridiculous. I also can't stand the good-boy image he tries to project to the world for himself and his Patriots, like Bellichek and Brady.

Their prices I have heard are already ridiculous. This guy screwed Connecticut and got the state of Massachusetts to fit a large portion indirectly of the Stadium, which many tax-payers opposed, through improving the surrounding structure as if the improvements were targeted not to the Stadium. Oh yeah, and the NFL fit a lot of the bill in the beginning as well, which probably also facilitated the push by the NFL to make them a house-hold name in particular to recoup their costs. Kraft is a crafty businessman and player...

This guy is absolutely out of his mind with his ******** campaign...

Can we start a ******** campaign to have all of those willing to help pay the Patriots fines spayed and neutered?

Just an idea to help control the possibility of their stupidity being passed on to future progeny.

You ever think about it this way. Maybe this guy is just a scam artist who's preying on the incredibly stupid homer faction of the pats. I don't know exactly how go fund me works but these people are pledging money to someone they have no clue who he is. Honestly I expect this guy to keep anything he gets if that's how the site works.
