if Eli had a different last name we wouldnt even talk about him. plain and simple
Absolutely. That's why Tags wanted him in NY--he wanted a "name" there.
Did you see, prior to our game yesterday, there was some show that put up the flex schedules for the upcoming weeks? All but one of those weeks featured the Giants. (You have to wonder if that will change.)
I get really tired of the ESPN crew sucking up to the usual suspects--Vick, both Mannings, McNabb, Favre, Moss (until recently). Vick has one decent game, & he's the next coming. How many years will they keep making excuses for him? Really boring, & none of them deserve it. They tried & tried to hype Bush--you almost expected him to walk on water--& even he's not living up to expectations. It almost seems like NFL HQ has orders out for the networks that there are certain "stars" who have to be talked up. Meanwhile, you've got legit stars like Tomlinson & Brady, who don't get nearly that much adulation. I don't like him, but Brady has 3 Super Bowls, yet he almost gets treated with a ho-hum attitude. Tomlinson is a legit great star, yet he gets very little attention.
