Anyone have any opinions on the player through four games so far this year? Is he better, worse or about the same as Rob?

I didn't hear his name mentioned as part of the pass blocking fiasco last Sunday. I think he is a definite upgrade over last season.

During BP's press conference he said that the press should not be talking about the o-line as a whole, b/c "the guy you were worried about was on the right side, and nobody has gotten close to the QB going against him".

i would say that's a sign that he's doing quite well

We've got a player in Colombo I think.

Parcells lamented that it was really the left side that was the problem area.

If Flozell doesn't improve he'll probably be replaced, despite being the so called anchor of the offensive line. Seems like all he is doing is bringing it down. If/When they replace Flo the line will be completely new with the exception of Gurode, who really is kind of new in his own sense.

Parcells said this is a very important time for the team not just for this season, but in the years to come. So a big change wouldn't shock me.

Colombo is way better than Pettiti. He has held up pretty well. As others have said, the LT has been the problem. Flo was horrible against Jax and Philly. Never thought he would be the weak link of the OL, but so far that has been the case. Let's hope it changes for the better the rest of the way.

Remember it takes a while to come back from the surgery he had. I do not think his knee is 100% and probably won't be til the off season lineman put a lot of torque on their knees and a repaired ligament is probably hampering him physically and some mentally.

If there is a single person on the planet that says or thinks Colombo is doing about the same (or worse) then Rob did last year, then that person needs to have his head checked cuz it ain't workin'.

I really think Flo is not 100%, hopefully he can get better as the season goes on, but I kinda expected him to not be fully recovered.

Columbo was a first round pick of the Bears and had a serious injury setback. But if he keeps recovering from his knee injury he will be a tremendous free agent acquisition.

Going from Petiti to Columbo is like going from a Labrador Retriever to a Rottweiler.

So far Petitti has been inactive with NO. I do not know how good their RT is, so maybe that is not all that much of a bad mark on Rob.

More like going from a miniature daschund to a rottweiler.

A labrado is too good a dog to be compared to Petitti.

I think he is doing better than Pettite did last season.

So the question is who amongst the reserves do you see putting in, any chance for Fabini or is it the rookie??

Colombo is not a star, but he has been solid - he's playing well enough to give us a chance to succeed, which Petitti could not do without added help from TE's or RB's.
