i think its stupid to hold the leg stomp against the guy, people get away with that junk all day long, its part of the game, he got caught.
lineman and linebackers will tell you all day about the "dirty" play in the pile.
andn the guy is not much much lesser a runner than his brother, and frankly how can you knock him for being a lesser runner than michael when every coach in the league will tell you michael's running holds him back from being a good QB.
you can think it was stupid but the bottomline is that is was egregiously classless and long after the play was over. Then what was worse, was that he wouldn't even own up to it. He tried to say it was an accident which was obviously and blatantly false. Its not part of the game, maybe in a prison-rules game. That's silly. At a minimum, own up to it.
Add in all his baseless self-promotion, legal problems, and discipline problems and that adds up to one big headache. He's a problem. If Beamer ran him off, you know he's a huge problem.
I thought he did a good job his last season at Va Tech running the show. He couldn't win a game for them by himself but he didn't lose any for them and overall got the job done playing within himself and the system.
But...
Yes he is a much lesser runner than his brother. The point wasn't to knock him for that but to say that
because he is the
combination of A) a much lesser runner than his bro
AND B) nothing more than a decent passer....that he is only a marginal pro prospect.
